Keep an eye out for this stormwater stencil painted around Sheboygan County communities! Bay-Lake staff were out and about the county today painting the stencil near storm drains for the Sheboygan County Stormwater Coalition’s education and outreach project.

The winning design of the Sheboygan Co. Stormwater Coalition design contest was submitted by a high school student in the Sheboygan Area School District. It will be converted to a stencil and painted by storm drains throughout the county. Stay tuned for pictures of the process!

Yesterday, in a partnership with @UWiscSeaGrant and WEM, Commission staff held a community flood preparedness event in Oconto County. More events like this are planned for later this year in Marinette, Manitowoc, and other lake/river cities throughout the region.
