@Oldtimers365 I do. The elderly budget so tightly. The surviving spouse should be able to receive the benefits the deceased spouse paid to receive. SS is not an entitlement. American workers paid it in every paycheck. It very often takes every cent of both for elderly to make ends meet.

@DC_Draino Get immigrants out of France or lose your country, if it is not too late already. I’ve been going to France since the mid 90’s. I went last in 2022. We encountered groups of intimidating (running, throwing bottles, yelling) immigrants then. It’s not the France I loved. So sad!
