@zama_fhe has announced the initial operators of the Zama Protocol ahead of its next release. I'd like to share this exciting development with you.

The Zama Protocol uses Delegated Proof-of-Stake, run by 18 operators: initially 13 KMS nodes and 5 FHE Coprocessors (more on that later).

In the Zama Protocol, the private FHE key is split and secured by a decentralized MPC network. Each Operator owns a portion of the key, ensuring privacy without compromising verifiability.

Today, they announced Figment, the first of the initial operators. Figment is a leading independent staking infrastructure provider, providing over $17 billion in digital assets for over 1,000 institutional clients.

Their commitment to the growth and long-term success of the digital asset ecosystem aligns perfectly with Zama's vision for confidential smart contracts.

FHE ve ZK Kanıtları KarşılaştırmasıFully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) ve Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK Kanıtları), veri gizliliğini artıran kriptografik tekniklerdir. FHE, şifreli veriler üzerinde hesaplama yapılmasını sağlar; veriler şifrelenmiş halde kalırken işlemler gerçekleştirilir ve sonuçlar yalnızca yetkili tarafından çözülebilir.

 ZK Kanıtları ise, bir bilginin doğruluğunu kanıtlarken herhangi bir detayı ifşa etmez; örneğin, bir işlemin geçerli olduğunu gösterir ama içeriğini gizler.

 Bu teknikler özellikle blockchain gibi ortamlarda veri gizliliğini korurken şeffaflık sağlar, ancak odakları ve uygulamaları farklıdır. FHE, 1978'de önerilmiş ve 2009'da pratik hale getirilmişken, ZK 1980'lerde ortaya çıkmış ve zk-SNARKs (2012) gibi varyantlarla gelişmiştir.

 Teknik Karmaşıklık: FHE, yüksek hesaplama yükü ve bellek gereksinimiyle bilinir; ZK ise matematiksel devreler (circuits) gerektirir ve uygulama zorluğu taşır.

 Gizlilik Odaklı: FHE, veri işleme sırasında tam şifrelemeyi korur; ZK, kanıtlamada sıfır bilgi sızıntısı sağlar.
