Delighted to share my new book chapter titled "Narrativas del feminismo amazigh: aspiraciones, agencia y empoderamiento de las mujeres amazigh en el sudeste de Marruecos", published in a collective volume by Jaume I University in Spain.
As part of the lecture, I also introduced the Tamazight alphabet, known as Tifinagh, through an interactive workshop. Participants learned about the script's history and cultural significance, and by the end, they were able to write their own names in Tifinagh alphbet. #peace
During my residence part of Women Peacemakers fellowship at the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego. I had the opportunity to deliver a lecture on Tamazight language and culture, focusing on the impacts of marginalization and Arabization policies.
Women's contributions to peacebuilding are are often overlookd, which is why I feel deeply honored to be part of a fellowship that amplifies women’s voices and highlights their invaluable contributions to peace.
