$BMP or BitmapPunks gives me $PANDORA vibes.
The economic design is interesting:
• Minting the NFT also gives you 1 $BMP within the same transaction.
• Purchasing $BMP directly from a DEX does not include the NFT.
• Selling either $BMP or the NFT burns the other within the same transaction.
This mechanism creates a deflationary supply for @bitmappunksnft.
It'll be exciting if CT picks this up, as I've noticed interest already brewing in the Chinese community.
A completely fictional story:
$BMP devs dropped their project. $BMP price tanked down to 95%. No one is supporting it.
$DOG is positioned as #memecoin. With its huge army it is struggling to claim 10 sats price.
If $BMP is a #memecoin will it reclaim 10 sats faster than $DOG? 🤔
In a centralized metaverse a company controls the supply creation. They create new plots and sell them at a significant profit, but there's normally a fixed supply, and eventually, they run out of land to sell.
Vs Bitmap the People's Metaverse:
Building on your Bitmap to attract traffic and creating value or buying Bitmaps near popular high-traffic areas will likely become key strategies. In the future, people will likely seek well-located large blocks of adjacent Bitmaps for projects, making those clusters valuable.
