I am now in the process of engaging with other progresive comrades on how we can build stronger solidarity infrastructure that is agnostic of political whims!
We have a lot of ignorant people on social media. Police officers are accused of siding with the regime, and when one is brave enough to speak out, as the one with a placard did, we have people saying:
"Ano dzingwa basa."
"Vachamuwana."
"Achasungwa."
These are the foolish individuals who are pulling us backward.
They have become compliant with the dictator and are comfortable with being oppressed.
If you are a coward, don’t spread your fear on my page please. I WILL BLOCK YOU!
Keep quiet if you have nothing meaningful to say, rather than come here and tell us to comply with the dictator!
Keep your foolishness to yourself!
The dismissive and defeatist comments reflect a mindset that discourages dissent and reinforces the status quo.
This kind of attitude is detrimental to the efforts of those who are working to bring about change and challenge the existing power structures.
Pasi neMbwende, on this page we block cowards!
ZIMBABWE IS THE SICKNESS OF SADC…Toxic oppressive politics tarnishes the image of a country. In the whole of SADC and in Africa, Zimbabwe is leading for the wrong reasons and is notorious for intolerance and repressive politics. This is so embarrassing and must stop. Stop this nonsense. What a national shame! Release these political prisoners! @SADC_News@DIRCO_ZA@CNN@BBCAfrica@SABCNews@eNCA
