Very happy to welcome residents into their beautiful new homes built by Habitat for Humanity with support from our Housing Accelerator Fund. It was just 7 months ago that we were on-site helping with framing.

We are laser focused on public safety in Peel Region — and we’re delivering real results.
Our mission is clear: Make Brampton and Peel the worst place in North America for organized crime to operate.
✅ Hired 785 new Peel Regional Police officers (2023 to 2026)— the largest frontline expansion per capita in Canada
✅ Building the new 23 Division — Peel’s first new police station in 40 years
✅ Deployed 360° high-resolution cameras and next-generation 911 technology
✅ Successfully lobbied Ottawa for auto theft scanners at intermodal hubs, advocated for the lawful access legislation which was presented in parliament and fought for real bail reform which has finally been approved.
We’re hitting organized crime where it hurts. Watch the video here for full @PeelPolice progresss report ☝🏼

Brampton is taking a major step forward in community safety with the groundbreaking of a new state-of-the-art police facility that will house one of Canada's top forensic labs, a first-of-its-kind Detainee Processing Unit, and direct support for one of the country's busiest courthouses. This investment ensures Peel Police has the modern tools and resources they need to combat organized crime and keep our growing city safe.

Thank you, #Brampton, for your continued support of Canada’s largest charity hockey game. 💙
Mayor Patrick Brown has long been a relentless champion for Brampton’s second hospital.
As a father and proud Brampton resident, he knows firsthand the difference timely, compassionate care can make. His leadership has been instrumental in moving the vision for Brampton's second hospital forward—but he's not stopping there.
Through his annual Hockey Night in Brampton, Mayor Brown is turning community spirit into real impact—raising an incredible $14 million in 2024 alone in support of the new Peel Memorial Hospital.
🎉 Join us on August 20 for this year’s star-studded event—where NHL stars including Auston Matthews, celebrities, and local supporters come together for a great cause.
Let’s keep the momentum going and be part of building the future of health care for our city.

Peel Police dismantled two criminal networks linked to a series of violent home invasions and jewellery store robberies across the Greater Toronto Area, which left several victims with life-altering injuries and resulted in approximately $2 million in stolen property.
Peel Police will not tolerate organized crime, brazen robberies and home invasions. Project Night Train is yet another example of extraordinary police work. Well done @ChiefNish@DC_Milinovich and the entire @PeelPolice team!

Another great weekend long celebration with Brampton's Filipino community at Chinguacousy Park. In the second year of Fiesta Extravaganza a market was added on Friday night. There's no contradiction in being fiercely proud to be Canadian and at the same time proud of your heritage and ancestry. This past weekend we celebrated the the beauty of the 🇵🇭 culture and the success of the community in 🇨🇦. #ExperienceBrampton @BramptonFiesta
The success of Project Ghost is not just a policing victory — it’s a community safety victory for Peel Region, and the broader GTA.
This investigation involved more than a dozen incidents — home invasions, stabbings, shootings, and coordinated luxury vehicle thefts. These were not random acts. This was organized crime. It was deliberate. It was violent. And it was terrifying for the victims involved.
That’s why I’m so grateful for the leadership of @PeelPolice - for taking swift, strategic, and effective action. These arrests and the 197 charges laid send a very clear message: if you bring violence to our neighbourhoods, if you exploit youth, and if you think you can act with impunity — think again.
We are strong, proud and free, and we live in the best country in the world. 🇨🇦 See you all at Chinguacousy Park to celebrate. From my family to yours, Happy Canada Day!
#CanadaDay2025#Ward2and6#TrueNorthStrongAndFree
On Canada Day we stand with all of our neighbours to show pride in our country, celebrate our freedoms, and appreciate how truly blessed we are are to live in the best country in the world.
