Peel Police dismantled two criminal networks linked to a series of violent home invasions and jewellery store robberies across the Greater Toronto Area, which left several victims with life-altering injuries and resulted in approximately $2 million in stolen property.

Peel Police will not tolerate organized crime, brazen robberies and home invasions. Project Night Train is yet another example of extraordinary police work. Well done @ChiefNish @DC_Milinovich and the entire @PeelPolice team!

Another great weekend long celebration with Brampton's Filipino community at Chinguacousy Park. In the second year of Fiesta Extravaganza a market was added on Friday night. There's no contradiction in being fiercely proud to be Canadian and at the same time proud of your heritage and ancestry. The success of Project Ghost is not just a policing victory — it’s a community safety victory for Peel Region, and the broader GTA.

This investigation involved more than a dozen incidents — home invasions, stabbings, shootings, and coordinated luxury vehicle thefts. These were not random acts. This was organized crime. It was deliberate. It was violent. And it was terrifying for the victims involved.

That’s why I’m so grateful for the leadership of @PeelPolice - for taking swift, strategic, and effective action.  These arrests and the 197 charges laid send a very clear message: if you bring violence to our neighbourhoods, if you exploit youth, and if you think you can act with impunity — think again.

The @CityBrampton has announced an agreement with @ZenobeEnergy, a global leader in fleet electrification, to transition @BramptonTransit to a fully electric fleet. This is the largest zero-emission transit initiative of its kind in Canada.
