This was word on Allegheny County Dem Committee a few years ago. Then, they added a bunch of new members through grassroots organizing, purged/sidelined the Trump supporters in their ranks, and now Allegheny County was one of only large urban counties not to move right in 2024

Surprising stat: Harris actually won Bethel Park, one of the more purple suburbs in Allegheny County and one often considered a bellwether, by about 200 votes. Obama lost by 3212 votes, Clinton by 1621, and Biden by 60.
