@Cas9Bandit @jason_ryanmd I don’t think that making the NBMEs scored again would all the sudden make more people pass, but it may encourage some students with lower % chance of passing to be more comfortable sitting for the exam earlier since they know what range their score likely will be in.

@Cas9Bandit @jason_ryanmd These are helpful approximations for students, but I do still wonder if part of the (possibly) increased rates of STEP 1 delay are out of caution by students who don’t have a clear indication of where exactly they stand and would rather just not take the risk.

@Cas9Bandit @jason_ryanmd Agree. Those are still out there, but the new NBMEs don’t provide scores and the % correct for any given score is different for every exam. What is one supposed to do when they get a 75% chance of passing and that’s the only indicator they have? Delay till >90%? Sit for STEP 1?
