For the 55th episode of the BPitch Podcast, we are excited to welcome Colin Benders.

“This past year I have noticed my sound has shifted towards a more barebones, more direct version of techno. I think this shift has come simultaneously with my general outlook on music, I don’t really feel like this day and age calls for pretty melodies and polished sounds. I’ve started to crave the fringes where things start falling apart, or where the droning kick becomes relentless yet still hypnotic. My setup is limited in sound palette, but I try to make up for it in drive and motion. This set is definitely not polished and sometimes it derails into unbearable screeching, but that’s part of the deal I guess :) anyway, enjoy!” - Colin

For the 54th episode of the BPitch Podcast, we are excited to welcome Kessie 💚

“I wanted to lean more into my instincts for this mix and channel some of the anxieties I’ve been dealing with in my everyday attempts to juggle this scramble we call life. It’s also been a while since I’ve focused on a podcast and I’ve grown more confident in my style: colourful and sinister with a seductive twang. I focused on contrast, depth, and flow. It’s tempting to approach a podcast like you’re at a club, but that’s already quite challenging when you’re in a studio alone, with no energy to feed off except your own. So I gave myself permission to wander a bit and see where the mix wanted to go, maintaining a playful attitude while letting some of the darker undertones bleed through.“ Enjoy the mix!! 💚💚💚

BPX048 - ALEX WILCOX - IDENTITY CRISIS 💥

Alex Wilcox returns to BPitch with his debut album Identity Crisis, out October 23. Across eleven tracks, he refines his gloriously unpredictable strain of delirious dance music, delivering punk-infused techno and electroclash with flashes of funk - bending genres until they snap.

Accompanying the album announcement today, lead single ‘i hate allof you’ takes a satirical hit at modern DJ culture, set to the soundscape of exploding synths and jagged drums. Attempting to sonically destroy the hollowness of the typical modern DJ.

Dive into the world ofSarah Sommers talks music, inspiration & more in her full interview with Four Four Mag! 💘💘

'I like to tell a story. I like there to be a journey with the releases. Even within the tracks themselves, I like it to take you on a journey. The track Tresor, for example, is quite long, and I debated splitting it into 3 separate tracks. But then I felt like I enjoy the ride it takes you on, similar to my quite long track HeartCore on my debut album. I feel like these tracks kind of belong together because they tell these stories of these different vivid impressions. '

“I created this mix for BPitch to showcase my love for unique, weird, and wild sound design—tracks that are hard to define, full of distorted textures that push the limits of sound. It crosses genres and builds in intensity, ending in a fast and explosive burst of drum & bass.” — BEC

New From Ellen Allien - Under The Ocean 👽🌊🤍

The track stands as one of her most personal works, created as a tribute to her mother who passed away in early 2025. ’Under The Ocean' presents itself as an electronic dream, with soundscapes that conceptually follow Ellen's mother as she travels through sonic realms. The production combines Allien's distinctive techno sensibilities with emotional depth, designed to be played "on the most beautiful dance floors" around the world—a way for the artist to bring her mother's presence to every performance.

"I wanted to make a track that I can play in my DJ sets, because then my mother is also with me when I perform," explains Allien. "She was at my first DJ show, dancing in front of me, and always supported me. This is my way of creating a beautiful reminder of her and what she means to me."
