@RpsAgainstTrump President Trump is a grifter and a crook. The greedy and corrupt self-enrichment, self-dealing, and straight up theft by the Trump family is greater in total than every American Presidential family COMBINED in our history. I’m sick of being gaslit about this. Call it what it is!
JUST IN: Trump disclosed more than 1,000 trades in June, revealing a major reshuffling of his portfolio. He bought and sold stocks, bonds and ETFs totaling between $78.1 million and $263.1 million, according to his latest filing. His purchases topped $49 million, while sales totaled at least $28.5 million.
In May, White House spokesman Davis Ingle said Trump’s assets are held in a trust managed by his children: “There are no conflicts of interest,” Ingle said. “President Trump only acts in the best interests of the American public.”
For over a year, Canada has worked intensively and in good faith with the United States to negotiate a new comprehensive trade deal. We have been pragmatic, patient, and persistent. Our goal has always been to get the best deal for Canadians, never a deal at any price or on any time frame.
Late last evening I instructed our negotiators to return to Ottawa. We cannot accept what the U.S. has offered, and we will not give what they have asked.
Canada will match the U.S.’ new tariffs dollar for dollar in order to protect Canadian workers, farmers, families, and businesses. We take this step confident that it is in the best interests of Canada.
In the coming days, we will release the details of these new tariff measures, which will come into force the Tuesday after Labour Day.
@MOSPhiladelphia Hayes more than made up for his error with a great play to end the game and save the no hitter. I was lucky enough to have great seats near 3rd base to see it up close in person.
"The "Philadelphia Inquirer" found dangerous chemicals in the astroturf of the now-demolished Veterans Stadium.
Six Phillies who played on that turf, Tug McGraw, Darren Daulton, John Vukovich, John Oates, Ken Brett, and David West have died of a rare and aggressive brain cancer. The six players all died in their 40's or 50's, roughly three times the rate of the average adult population.
Even more alarming was their mutual diagnosis of glioblastoma.
The Phillies sold pieces of turf in sealed 4 x 4" bags.
The "Inquirer" purchased four of those on eBay.
Samples analyzed by two separate labs found 16 types of dangerous chemicals in the turf.
They are referred to as “forever chemicals” because they don’t break down and can last in the human body for years.
The US federal government estimates that 12,000 artificial turf fields containing PFAS or “forever chemicals” exist in USA.

Darren 'Dutch' Daulton.
And still no updates on this story!!!
@realDonaldTrump Way better off. The economy you left in shambles is robust and prosperous. You didn’t fix the border during your term even with your party controlling both houses of congress for two years, and then you blocked the bipartisan border bill.
