"Girls can have short hair too"
We have had lots of issues with some of our girls being called boys for having short hair, it’s lead to being bullied on and off the pitch.
We are a girls football team and for the past few seasons we have been challenged by coaches, parents and players stating that we have boys on the team. This sadly has had a negative impact on our girls as it moves away from the pleasure of the game. We have had multiple incidents of this 😢
We are in a girls league, it’s caused so much distress and taken away from times where we should be celebrating! Often this happens when we score!!
An important message from York RI Girls U12s to raise awareness.

Delighted to have attended the Humber and North Yorkshire Critical Care Conference yesterday. Excellent content throughout the day with some gripping patient testimony.
Delighted to have sent seven ICU nurses on the Critical Care Symposium in Manchester. Funded by @YSTeachingNHS and the ACCN funding @NHSEngland. Happy learning!
Our nurses @theRCN should not have to fight for fair pay, but @SteveBarclay is still refusing to get round the negotiation table. Until he does, nurses will continue to exit the #NHS. #ProudOfYou speaking up for the NHS #StaffRetention
