Banadir has a complete, equipped ( technical staff & Ambulances) & operational Public Health Emergency Operation Center that will serve as a hub for better coordination, preparation, response, & recovery for public health emergencies.

Joined colleagues at @MoH_Somalia , federal member states , implementing partners for Somalia Health sector coordination 2024.

I reiterated on the importance of strengthening coordination and universal monitoring frameworks so as to increase the efficiency of services.

I welcomed the Governor of Banadir and mayor of Mogadishu HE Yussuf H Maadale to the @BRAHealth headquarters for the stone laying of Banadir regional Cold chain center and Banadir regional Medical supplies warehouse.

I received delegation from IRC @RESCUEorg - Somalia led by the Country director Mr Richard Crother at my office.

We had lengthy discussion on how to strengthen our collaboration so as to ensure easy and equitable access of quality healthcare services by Banadir residents

I paid a visit to Hodan Health Center to inspect the status of the facility and the efficiency of the services provided to banadir residents .

The dedication of this facility’s staffs in providing healthcare services is truly commendable .
