@SadlyItsBradley@Eepoxii Software =/= Hardware
Machine uses more RAM and is more impacted by the market conditions around it - no?
Machine would also need less packaging (denser in a cargo crate) meaning its shipments would be more than the Deck's 14.5T per container.
Money's on Frame at 12.4T each.
@Pilestedt@KyleJohnsonVA Really not sure how a 2-3k SC Warbond would have been more negatively received than 4k of content spread over multiple store rotations...
People are used to the Warbonds because they can save and get them anytime + use medals to progress through them.
This was an absolute miss.
In case it isn't obvious, I've all but stopped using X these days - please follow me on 🦋 instead!
(That said I know this is going to be down ranked to hell and back here.)
Consistently seeing artists get more engagement on 🦋 posts these days, & they won't scrap your data for any 'Grok'-style AI BS.
By using Sky Follower Bridge + Porto, it doesn't take long to move over, plus you won't be supporting musk's hellsite anymore.
Win/win/win.
From the 15th onward I'll exclusively checking profiles of artists I find/like for BlueSky links instead of following on here.
Glad to see most that I've come across recently have had one! 🦋
@JunePlums If you do change your mind - extensions like Sky Follower Bridge and Porto make it much easier to re-follow and re-post everything to BlueSky, and I'll definitely re-follow you again there.
Hope it all works out!
@KnightBozo@JunePlums You have many more filter, feed, and block options on BlueSky than here. It's much more user manageable so you can limit reposts on your work to some degree.
While also not agreeing to have your art scraped by in-house AI.
@JunePlums There's a difference between posting it somewhere that doesn't use it for that, where you can fight it, vs essentially agreeing to the TOS here, ceding your rights to any kind of resolution for having your art scraped for Grok.
'It happens anyway' is a bad way to think about it.
@MannieMighty1 It can't be - it's a decentralized network and you can host your own instance + use an alternative app if you want and still be connected to everyone on the protocol.
