I never thought of it like that but you’re right. It is a thinly veiled IQ test. I do it because it does change the way I talk to them. If they are uneducated I could be talking over their head. People on here saying this is made up have no idea how much money is floating around out there and how many rich people there are. He probably got the money from his parents. Maybe it’s a long term strategy for avoiding inheritance tax. And cudos to the surgeon for renting. It’s much less stress. He/they have enough stress as it is. If he loves his job (which would be most unlikely) he could work for a long time.
