Today we say farewell to @PaulBrookerHMI who retires from Ofsted. Over many years Paul has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of children and young people as an HMI and Regional Director for the East of England. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
endorsement (100% on ParentView!), how our team engaged, and the supportive fashion in which @edubizz led the inspection. Can't wait until the official letter is published!
Two of the schools I work with had @Ofstednews visits this week. Both were sensitive and supportive. Leaders welcomed the opportunity to share their journey and felt sincerely listened to.
OFSTED monitoring visit with the very supportive Jen and Stewart today. An absolute pleasure to encapsulate all we have done to support pupils and the community during COVID-19. Go Willowdown! @Ofstednews@WillowdownPri

Thanks, Gary. You It was great to be with you and hear about the work you’ve done at Sir Bernard Lovell throughout the pandemic. We really enjoyed the professional discussion.
Thanks to @Ofstednews@BSimmons_SW for visiting @SBLAcademy @WellswayMat yesterday. Good to discuss the work behind the 96% pupil attendance and full curriculum that is in operation. We'd be delighted to welcome you back in January for a full visit.
This week I’m talking to @Ofstednews colleagues, re-deployed to work in Devon Childrens Services throughout the pandemic and are now going back to their former Ofsted roles. A massive thank you to those who joined us. It’s been a great having you, thank you for your hard work!
And thank you to all those inspectors still working in the field, as well as those starting redeployment roles in local authorities, working with schools and volunteering to be foster caters. All part of the fantastic efforts made by so many groups of workers at this time.
@YvetteStanley18@BSimmons_SW I have witnessed some brilliant work by an OFSTED inspector in the South West. They enabled a new home to be registered in a very challenging situation to facilitate an unavoidable move for some young people. 👏👏👏Have emailed you both details :)
With our routine inspections suspended, we’ve been matching our staff into supporting roles across education and social care, working closely with local councils to provide support where it’s most needed.
And with this glorious moment, the circle of life is complete.
Our friends at the real place, Florence, Oregon, have seen our tweets.
