Dear @greenpeaceusa, could we please have the Skull of Satoshi since you don't seem to be using it any more?

Here's 4 reasons this is in our shared interests.

1. I imagine its probably in a warehouse somewhere gathering dust, as a piece of e-waste, whereas we could give the art work a second life, recycling it's value

2. The artist @thevonwong created something of beauty. I think it's fair to say that many Bitcoiners have appreciated that beauty, and it would honor his art to have it be seen and appreciated.

3. In the words of the artist again The skull "represents, literally, what both sides believe to be true: That Bitcoin has the potential to be more environmentally friendly; a force for good for the environment." 2 years after he said this, the landscape has changed ... a lot!

Bitcoin is 57% sustainable energy-based, 90% of sustainability magazines endorse its environmental impact, there are 20 peer reviewed papers showing that Bitcoin mining supports the green energy transition, the UN SDP goals, and can decarbonize through methane mitigation, doubling the speed at which solar farms receive a payback and more.

4. We get to both move on with good humor and grace on a campaign I think we can both agree has not been one of GreenpeaceUSAs more successful ones.

Alternatively, I'm happy to debate you for it.

You win, you keep the Skull and I'll publicly acknowledge that there is still work to do to convince people Bitcoin is good for the environment.

I win, the Skull gets a second life promoting the potential for Bitcoin to be, in the words of the artist "A force for good for the environment"
