Hermann argues that "circular economy" isn't quite the right term. An economy is merely the thin layer on top. What really matters is what's underlying: this could be a sports club, a community organization, a school, a church, or any other group united by a shared purpose. The economic activity emerges from that foundation, not the other way around.
