• BIP-110: a softfork that tightens Bitcoin's data rules.
• eCash: a hardfork that launches a separate Bitcoin chain with Drivechains built in.
1. BIP-110
Bitcoin continues on its existing chain, while supporting nodes enforce stricter data rules. The update changes which transactions those nodes accept.
2. eCash

@BTCdrivechains plans to use that network as a home for Drivechains, where devs can build things like payments, privacy tools, or smart contracts without changing Bitcoin itself.
Drivechains come from @Truthcoin, who wrote them up as BIP 300/301 and has spent more than a decade pushing to get them onto Bitcoin.
The new chain will use ECX as its native coin. Any address that holds 1 BTC at the fork block, the same keys will also control 1 ECX on eCash.
At approximately Bitcoin block 963,648, every $BTC holder receives an equal amount of eCash, with no changes to their Bitcoin.
To guarantee your ECX, it's recommended to move your BTC to a self-custodial wallet before the snapshot. Exchange support is not guaranteed.
Your BTC's fine either way, but I wouldn't want mine sitting on an exchange when the snapshot happens.

Back in 2009, Satoshi mined over 1.1M BTC using a distinct mining pattern. He never moved those coins. On eCash, Satoshi keeps 600k+ ECX - but 500k are reassigned to the investors and builders who made this project possible.
To be clear: we do not touch, move, or control any Bitcoin. No access to Satoshi's private keys. His BTC is completely untouched.
We're deciding how coins on our new chain, which didn't exist until we created it, are initially allocated.
BIP300 has been waiting for Bitcoin's approval since 2015. In August, it stops waiting.
@Truthcoin published the spec eleven years ago. Bitcoin Core never merged it. The debate stalled but the code didn't.
A Drivechain lets Bitcoin run sidechains - separate networks for payments, privacy, prediction markets - without touching the base layer.
eCash puts that into production. Seven sidechains already running on Bitcoin Signet.
Every BTC holder receives ECX 1:1. Do with it what you will.
