Hardfork forecast: Thursday, 2:30 PM EST !

Lately, BTC Blocks have arrived extra-fast, so the fork is happening sooner than expected.

Remember: Self-custody your BTC! If you keep it on an exchange, they may not give you your ECX.

[Bitcoin Drivechains @BTCdrivechains]

BUILD SOMETHING WEIRD.

Your first ECX project does not need a pitch deck. A tiny, weird demo will do.

Show what it does, link the repo, label the network and tell us where you're stuck.

@Truthcoin Thank you @Truthcoin for your support. We’re working to become the number one launchpad for ECX, and we’ll keep building no matter what.

Bitcoin should have been the natural home for new ideas. Instead, its culture forces builders to fight, tooth and nail, just for permission to try. (Which they mostly don't get.)

Every ETH / Doge / Solana / etc project should instead be on BTC -- using BTC, and paying fees in BTC. This brings life to Bitcoin itself. Sadly, Bitcoin has squandered this opportunity for 10+ years.

With eCash, we get a glimpse of how things could be different.

For example, there is a new project "Fork", which is sorta like a https://t.co/yO9Ye50grF on eCash. I don't know if they will succeed, but I wish them good luck. @forkpadorg

Projects such as https://t.co/yO9Ye50grF are indeed silly, and irreverent — but so was the early internet. So was Bitcoin when it first came out. (Remember the "join us" wizard?) We need to let users be users.

After all, do we really want to live in a world where it is easy for someone to gatekeep what you do with your own BTC (or ECX)? I don't.

Here’s what’s included in our first update:

→ Launch filters
Filter tokens by age, liquidity, holder count, fee mode, and bonding curve progress to find what you’re looking for faster.

→ Team fee splits
Split trading fees across up to 5 wallets for developers, designers, and project treasuries, with allocations fixed at launch.

→ Feature request board
A public space for your feedback and ideas. Submit suggestions and track their progress: Proposed → Planned → In Progress → Shipped.

→ Hackathon tab
We’ve added a dedicated tab for a major upcoming initiative to support builders and grow the eCash ecosystem. Stay tuned for more on this.

[Bitcoin Drivechains @BTCdrivechains]

Bitcoin is facing a brain drain.

Developers leave for ecosystems that let them try an idea and see if the market wants it.

Sidechains will bring that freedom back without turning every experiment into an argument over changing Bitcoin itself.

ForkPad is good, but it can always be better.

Shipping some updates today.

[ForkPad @forkpadorg]

@brothertodo9 For now, just be an early user, trade tokens on our launchpad, and contribute to the growth of the ecosystem.

Attention is one of the most valuable currencies in this space. Forkpad exists to give creators a place to turn it into something lasting, whether they're launching a meme, building a product, or testing a new idea, and to convert the attention they attract into sustained participation in the eCash ecosystem.

eCash is a better version of Bitcoin: it builds on Bitcoin's foundations while opening up far more of what can be created. Its approach to Drivechains makes room for applications, tools and services with real utility, and gives developers new use cases to explore and more reasons for people to use the network.

Forkpad is built to be the home on eCash for every Bitcoin narrative that never had the chance to come to life. Creators find their community here, experiment with new ideas, and ship products people want to use.

Momentum is already visible. Within 24 hours of launch, wECX peaked at +50%. The priority now is giving participants reasons to stay engaged through new launches, useful products and expanded ways to take part.

The roadmap is unchanged:

• Early-user airdrop: distributed in ECX tokens, not $FORK
• Developer hackathon: designed to bring in builders and turn new ideas into working projects

Both initiatives are core to growing eCash. Platform development continues with $20,000 in added liquidity, reflecting a long-term commitment.

Early participants are still early. Bring your memes, community and the ideas you've always wanted to build.

Give them a home on Fork.

[ForkPad @forkpadorg]

$20,000 has just been added to liquidity additionally.

[ForkPad @forkpadorg]

Around 5% of the total $FORK supply has been added to a new FORK/wECX liquidity pool on Meteora DLMM.

We're continuing to deepen liquidity across the ecosystem.

solana:6ombVv3YMs9qpx1QkycD9XW8HKSfv7vGrCFX3cxCYMVY is up 50% since ForkPad launched.

There will be signs, right?

[ForkPad @forkpadorg]

I can fix it.

[Paul Sztorc @Truthcoin]

In an alternate world, Blockstream did what they were hired in 2014 to do

Fringe cryptosystems (such as ETH) and memecoins (such as DOGE) are safely "on top" of Bitcoin as sidechains - using BTC and paying all txn fees in BTC

And every Bitcoiner cheers all of those projects on!

[ForkPad @forkpadorg]

3% of the dev wallet supply is now out of circulation for 6 months.

[ForkPad @forkpadorg]

When fork was first introduced, people asked, “Why do we need it when we can eat with our hands?”

Few will understand.

[ForkPad @forkpadorg]

As planned, 15% of all fees go directly toward buybacks and burns of our main token.

The first 3.53M of $FORK buyback is complete. Track all future buybacks in the Fund tab on our website.

solana:6ombVv3YMs9qpx1QkycD9XW8HKSfv7vGrCFX3cxCYMVY price surged +20% following the launch of Forkpad.

Just getting started.
