Decided to do some statistical analysis for the $COQ flock.
Since $COQs inception (90ish days ago) it has a correlation coefficient of 0.893 compared with the price of BTC (this is actually more correlated to the price of BTC than the price of AVAX which I also analyzed (0.85 correlation coefficient)).
What does that mean?
🔺At ~0.9, it’s considered a very strong positive correlation, so as $BTCs price goes up, $COQ price is highly likely to follow considering all things equal (barring anything like listings, hot news or other anomaly events)
The next question is, well if it’s correlated, then by how much can we expect price to go up or down with BTC?
🔺I’ll spare you the details of economic elasticity when comparing prices and demand but for every 1% drop in BTC we would expect to see a 3-6% drop in $COQ (BTC up 3%? $COQ most likely would be up 12-20%. The inverse is also true). Once again this is on average and analyzed over 90 days. You will see daily price fluctuation in some cases differ by more or less but on a weekly average this holds true.
Long story short, sit back and relax. $COQ is not outside of the typical volatility we see at a macro level. Onward and upward.
#BTC
In 4 days, Bitcoin will officially enter the "Danger Zone" (orange) where historical Pre-Halving Retraces have begun
Historically, Bitcoin has performed Pre-Halving Retraces 14-28 days before the Halving
In 2020, this retrace was -20% deep
In 2016, this retrace was -40% deep
Currently, $BTC is 32 days away from the Halving and has pulled back -11% this week

#Bitcoin $MARA
possible explanations:
.MARA is underpriced
.BTC is overpriced
.Investors flee miners for ETF
.MARA is being shorted/suppressed
.Operation Chokepoint 2.0 applied to miners
.BTC/MARA relationship was false to begin with
.Company-specific issues to MARA

Let me put words in Giovani's mouth as to why S2F is nonsensical.
First, of all, the price of an asset is not logically dependent on it's Stock to Flow. Yes, Bitcoin is scarce. But so are 1967 versions of the board game "Monopoly".
This does not mean that every Parker Brothers Boomer family is now a millionaire.
The "correlation" of S2F with Bitcoin prices is accidental. Bitcoin's S2F is a monotonic function of time. And Bitcoin is a power law with time. So, ergo it's correlated with S2F.
But it's also correlated with the the growth of wolves in Yellowstone park over the last 15 years. Does. Not. Mean. Anything.
Saifdean may be a great thinker, but he's a lousy mathematician. Saying the S2F is as likely to be wrong as "guessing a private key" is just completely, utterly incorrect.
In conclusion, Bitcoin Price is growing like a Power Law because its a better form of money, which includes scarcity as an attribute. It also includes security, auditability and peer-peer transport. It's not "just scarcity".
Not engagement farming. Just setting the record straight.
The sheer insanity of that actual response from Google’s AI is staggering! They will fix it to be less obvious in the future, but the bias will still be in there.
AI mirrors the mistakes of its creators.
When people wonder how things might go wrong if AI controlled the world, this example clearly illustrates the point.
The best approach to AI safety – in my opinion, the only approach that would work – is to be maximally truth-seeking.
Honesty is the best policy.
