I'd love to make Before The Game Was Gone the retro football site that you guys all want. So, what would you like to see on there? What stories would you like to see told? Which players/teams/leagues/eras? Which movies/TV shows? Which beautiful pieces of pop culture? #90sfootball

'So, what makes you think you were obsessed with Fantasy Football in the 90s.'

Sometimes, it's raining outside and you just have to say I'm going to settle in and ready Jack Charlton's USA 94 World Cup diary.

[Before The Game Was Gone @BTGWGFootball]

Come on then, which is it? No not Redknapp or Giggs. Not even Match or Shoot.

Are you team Match Yearbook or Shoot Annual? #retrofootball

[Before The Game Was Gone @BTGWGFootball]

What a glorious memory this is.

I interviewed Mark Bowen about this match for Before The Game Was Gone.

That one will be on the site when it launches next month. #retrofootball

33 years ago today:

The ball falls perfectly for Jeremy Goss in Munich… and he absolutely Jeremy Goss’es the bastard into the Bayern net.

What days. What incredible days.

We all have an inbox full of this kind of email, right? #retrofootball

@fmdestekcom CM 99/00 was my first. Put many, many hours into that one but I think 00/01 was the peak of my CM playing. Utterly addicted at that point.

You might be wondering, what kind of website is Before The Game Was Gone going to be?

Well, it's the kind of website that spends its Thursday lunchtime interviewing Championship Manager legend Tonton Zola Moukoko.
