One of Maryland’s oldest Republican organizations issues its slate of endorsements across statewide, congressional, and county races ahead of the 2026 primary

The Montgomery County Republican Club established in 1970 and one of Maryland’s most active Republican organizations, has released its full slate of endorsements for the 2026 Republican Primary Election.
Ed Hale for Governor leads the ticket.

Why is this important?

Because Montgomery County is the largest voting block for democrats and independent voters.

And because there is more independent voters than registered Republicans in Maryland which means that their vote matters in the general election.

But one can argue - Ed Hale is a former Democrat.

The answer is: So was Tulsi and Trump. All at different times realized that communist and ultra woke policies which have been front and center of the past 4 years of Wes Moore's administration lead us all to economic collapse.

From gas to electricity. From woke schools to dilapidated bridges and infrastructure.

If you haven't heard or realized- Maryland is suffocating in debt and Moody's and S&P have downgraded our sovereign debt: aka municipal bonds.

If you don't understand what this means - let me explain:

Moody's is a credit rating agency operating since 1909. Maryland always had AAA rating. This is like a credit agency for states. Maryland was downgraded by Moody’s and S&P credit agency to unfavorable rating!!!!

This means that major infrastructure projects in Maryland were built by people buying Maryland AAA bonds.
With “unfavourable” rating this means there is a risk of not getting your money back if you buy them. So people and large investors won’t invest in Maryland due to this risk.

How does this work?

Maryland offers bonds on the primary bond market. There are 2 main types of bonds: General Obligation and Revenue Bonds.

General Obligation bonds are guaranteed by Maryland's taxing power and this means that when people buy them, they give cash to Maryland Treasury which then sends the money for finance and pay for projects that help Marylanders- whether to build a bridge or a hospital or a stadium for an example. I’ve worked on the bond market and with Maryland investors since 1999.

Revenue bonds are guaranteed by the revenues these projects earn. And for Maryland it was always super high quality. People and bond fund managers loved our state!

Interest on these bonds is not taxed by Federal or State governments. That's why Maryland bonds give additional benefit to Marylanders: interest tax free income. Your checks are tax free! That’s huge!

The State of Maryland doesn't go to any bank for a loan. The State goes to the people and promise them that they will pay them their interest and principal back at maturity.

Marylanders love those bonds because interest is federal and state free from taxes. Yes - better than the CDs!

Ed Hale is a Maryland's legend: entrepreneur and the CEO of the Bank of Baltimore in the 1980s and then founder of the First Mariner community bank.

No other candidate built massive wealth on their own and had a 40+ year fabulous career in Maryland. Coming from a Democrat party to Republican Party with litre desire to save our great state from economic ruin is our privilege to have him so this not attack him for being “lifelong” Democrat.

The sad part is that we have “lifelong Republicans” who have caused more harm to our country than any democrat alone: think Mitch McConnell, Liz Chaney, Mike Pence etc….

Rational people must stop and think: which candidate has the most knowledge and experience to help dying Maryland economy?

The Montgomery County did their vetting and analysis.

If you want to get rid of Wes Moore you must vote for Ed Hale.

If you want to stay a looser and pick a candidate who has no money or experience to get us out of Maryland's financial and economic collapse then vote for losers.

Don't be a dumb loser. Think.
