@Liathetrader Dividends with 100k capital will not cover it. Selling options can cover up to 2k with low risk, but if you add tax also not what he needs.
@EarningsMatter@stripe It is never that fast. First is due diligence done by a big4 and a valuation model running on top of what stripe runs for paypal. The price dropped 2-3 weeks ago, i dont expect an offer that fast. Maybe in 2 months you might see a proper offer.
@EarningsMatter It would be wierd, because paypal it is in an interesting position that no player in industry is. Paypal can become an online bank, payment processing and infrastructure facilitator for small businesses
@QualityInvest5 I did switch 1 of the 2 iphones i had from last year. And now i find myself using google pixel for almost everything, it has way much more features that i use than iphone. I charge my iphone 15 once every 3 days because i dont use it at all almost.
@NolanP415 @QualityInvest5 The problem is that unbranded checkout is becoming like a commodity service (like buying and selling oil in different markets)
@QualityInvest5 They have high margins for a commodity sevice that they offer. Good for them and shareholders, however this will end either in a dumping game with braintree and stripe and others or 3-4 big static price collab and later on, cheap antitrust fines. I still pick paypal.
