@AnnePisor This is very interesting story. In 2018, I was working on project related to dev't intervention in Nyangatom, South Ethiopia. Some years before my visit, there's an attempt to introduce camels, but the locals showed little interest partly they're not familiar with them.

@NegedeYehuda Who are the "other Ethiopians" referred to in this article? They collected the genetic data from only four groups (Tigray, Amhara, Oromo & Jewish) and compared the Oromo to the other three groups not to "other Ethiopians?" Did they say Oromo arrived in this region in the 16th c?
