Our last Open Day of the current batch yesterday - great to have so much interest in Env Science. As always, our Peer Guides were a big help …And huge congrats to Emma Dickens, one of our Env Science students who won the @BangorUni Peer Guide of the Year award last week! 👏😊👍
2nd-yr Env Science students getting up close to one of the biodigesters built and run by @FreEnergyAD on an organic dairy farm. Fascinating visit where we discussed waste / resource management, renewables, GHGs, livestock systems, regulation, soils / water / nutrients, and more!
What a great week our 2nd-year Env Science students have had! No better way of learning than seeing it for yourself, and also invaluable to hear from those directly working in areas that our students may go on to work in. Plus of course time for a bit of socialising! 🍺😁

Perfect (wet!) weather to take 1st-year Env Science students @BangorUni to discuss managing land for flood mitigation, followed by daily trips (and sun!) around Eryri to explore land use, conservation, renewables, ecology, water quality, GHGs, glaciation, and more! A great week.
