𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐡 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧

The Baloch Women Forum strongly condemns the enforced disappearance of 16-year-old Rizwana, a first year student from Mastung. Her disappearance adds to the growing number of Baloch women who have been forcibly disappeared including Khadija Baloch, Mahjabeen Baloch, Nasreena Baloch and Habiba Baloch. The increasing abduction of Baloch women and girls demonstrates that enforced disappearance has become a deliberate instrument of fear, intimidation and collective punishment against the Baloch nation. The targeting of women and even minors represents a dangerous escalation, violating the most fundamental principles of human dignity and justice.

The continued abduction of Baloch women is a colonial tactic aimed at terrorizing communities, silencing political voices and weakening the social fabric of an oppressed nation. When women become targets, the objective extends beyond the individual, it is intended to spread fear across entire families and communities. Baloch Women Forum demands the immediate release of Rizwana, Khadija Baloch, Mahjabeen Baloch, Nasreena Baloch, Habiba Baloch and all forcibly disappeared Baloch women. We call on the international community and global human rights mechanisms to take urgent action, ensure independent investigations and hold those responsible accountable. The normalization of the enforced disappearance of Baloch women must end before more lives are destroyed by impunity.

سید بی بی کی تھری ایم پی او کے تحت گرفتاری بنیادی انسانی و سیاسی آزادیوں کی خلاف ورزی ہے

بلوچ وومن فورم کے مرکزی ترجمان نے اپنے جاری کردہ بیان میں کہا ہے کہ بلوچ سیاسی کارکن سید بی بی کی بار بار گرفتاری اور انہیں تھری ایم پی او کے تحت حراست میں لینا ریاستی جبر اور مسلسل ہراسانی کے تسلسل کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔ گزشتہ کئی ماہ سے سید بی بی کو مسلسل نگرانی، ہراسانی اور گرفتاریوں کا سامنا ہے، جو بنیادی انسانی اور سیاسی آزادیوں سے متعلق سنگین خدشات کو جنم دیتا ہے۔

ترجمان نے کہا کہ حالیہ دنوں میں سید بی بی کو کیچ میں ہونے والے ایک پُرامن احتجاج سے ایک روز قبل گرفتار کیا گیا تھا، تاہم بعد ازاں انہیں رہا کر دیا گیا۔ اس کے بعد انہیں دوبارہ گرفتار کیا گیا اور تقریباً چوبیس گھنٹے تک حراست میں رکھا گیا۔ گزشتہ شب ان کے گھر پر رات کے وقت چھاپہ مارا گیا، اور اگلے روز انہیں ایک مرتبہ پھر گرفتار کرکے تھری ایم پی او کے تحت جیل منتقل کر دیا گیا۔

بلوچ وومن فورم نے اپنے جاری کردہ بیان میں کہا ہے کہ بار بار گرفتاریوں، ہراسانی، گھروں پر چھاپوں اور انتظامی حراست جیسے اقدامات آزادیٔ اظہار اور آزادیٔ اجتماع کے بنیادی حقوق کی مکمل نفی ہیں۔ بلوچ وطن میں انسانی حقوق کے لیے آواز اٹھانے والے سیاسی کارکنوں کے خلاف اس نوعیت کے ہتھکنڈے نہ صرف شدید تشویش کا باعث ہیں بلکہ عالمی انسانی حقوق کے قوانین کی بھی کھلی خلاف ورزی ہیں۔

بلوچ وومن فورم نے اپنے بیان میں مزید کہا کہ سید بی بی کی بلاجواز گرفتاری اور انہیں تھری ایم پی او کے تحت حراست میں لینا اس بات کی عکاسی کرتا ہے کہ ریاست بلوچ خواتین کی قومی تحریک میں فعال، شعوری اور مؤثر شرکت سے خوف زدہ ہے اور ان کی سیاسی سرگرمیوں کو سبوتاژ کرنے کے لیے ہر ممکن جارحانہ حربہ اختیار کر رہی ہے۔ تاہم یہ بات یاد رکھنی چاہیے کہ اس طرح کے مجرمانہ ہتھکنڈوں کے ذریعے ریاست بلوچ عوام کی جاری سیاسی بیداری اور قومی جدوجہد کو نہیں کچل سکتی، بلکہ ریاست کی متشدد پالیسیوں کے نتیجے میں ہر بلوچ فرد مزید مضبوطی کے ساتھ بلوچ قومی جدوجہد سے جڑتا جا رہا ہے۔

Late on today evening CTD personnel entered her residence in Turbat and took her into custody without presenting a judicial warrant or providing any legal justification for her arrest. The operation was carried out despite her consistent compliance with the conditions imposed upon her under the Fourth Schedule including regular appearances before the Counter Terrorism Department.

Her detention came shortly after the announcement of a peaceful protest in Turbat against the life imprisonment of BYC leaders, which is scheduled for tomorrow, raising serious concerns that preventive arrests and intimidation are being used to obstruct lawful political expression and discourage public participation in peaceful assembly. The growing reliance on the Fourth Schedule against political activists has transformed what is presented as a counterterrorism measure into a mechanism for restricting civil liberties. Across Balochistan, political workers, students, teachers and ordinary citizens have faced surveillance, repeated summons, restrictions on their movement and persistent intimidation under this framework.

Syed Bibi Baloch is currently being held at the Women’s Police Station in Turbat, where authorities have indicated that her detention is linked to tomorrow’s protest and that she will be released once the protest concludes. Holding an individual in custody to prevent or undermine peaceful political activity constitutes an arbitrary deprivation of liberty and represents a serious violation of fundamental rights including the freedoms of expression, association and peaceful assembly.

We call upon international human rights organizations, United Nations human rights mechanisms and the wider international community to urgently intervene by demanding the immediate release of Syed Bibi Baloch, monitoring the misuse of counterterrorism laws against peaceful political activists and pressing the Pakistani authorities to uphold their obligations under domestic law and international human rights standards. The continued criminalization of peaceful dissent and the systematic erosion of civic freedoms in Balochistan require immediate international attention and accountability.

بلوچ وومن فورم کے مرکزی ترجمان نے اپنے جاری کردہ بیان میں کراچی میں بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کی مرکزی رکن سمی دین بلوچ کے گھر پر رات کی تاریکی میں چھاپہ اور کوئٹہ میں پُرامن مظاہرین پر تشدد اور گرفتاریوں کو بلوچ عوام کے خلاف جاری ریاستی جبر و جارحیت کے تسلسل کا حصہ قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ بلوچستان اور بلوچ سیاسی و انسانی حقوق کے کارکنوں کے خلاف طاقت، خوف اور انتقام پر مبنی پالیسی تاحال ختم ہونے کا نام نہیں لے رہی۔

ترجمان نے کہا کہ سمی دین بلوچ گزشتہ سترہ برسوں سے اپنے جبری طور پر لاپتہ والد ڈاکٹر دین محمد بلوچ کی باحفاظت بازیابی کے لیے ایک پُرامن، آئینی اور انسانی حقوق پر مبنی جدوجہد کر رہی ہیں۔ اس طویل عرصے کے دوران انہیں متعدد بار گرفتار کیا گیا، دھمکیاں دی گئیں، ہراساں کیا گیا اور مسلسل دباؤ میں رکھنے کی کوشش کی گئی، مگر وہ اپنے اصولی مؤقف سے دستبردار نہیں ہوئیں۔ اب ایک مرتبہ پھر بغیر کسی قانونی وارنٹ کے ان کے گھر پر چھاپہ مارنا، اہلِ خانہ کو خوفزدہ کرنا، گھر میں توڑ پھوڑ کرنا اور قیمتی سامان ساتھ لے جانا اس امر کا ثبوت ہے کہ اختلافِ رائے کو طاقت کے ذریعے خاموش کرانے کی پالیسی بدستور جاری ہے۔

مرکزی ترجمان نے کہا کہ کوئٹہ میں ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ اور صبغت اللہ شاہ جی کو سنائی گئی عمر قید کی سزا کے خلاف ہونے والے پُرامن احتجاج پر پولیس کا تشدد، خواتین اور نوجوانوں سمیت متعدد مظاہرین کی گرفتاریاں اور احتجاج کو طاقت کے ذریعے دبانے کی کوشش اس حقیقت کی عکاسی کرتی ہے کہ ریاست سیاسی مطالبات کا جواب مکالمے سے نہیں بلکہ طاقت کے مسلسل استعمال سے دے رہی ہے۔

ترجمان نے مزید کہا کہ بلوچ خواتین کو مسلسل نشانہ بنانا، انسانی حقوق کے کارکنان کو گرفتار کرنا، گھروں پر چھاپے مارنا اور پُرامن سیاسی و انسانی حقوق کی سرگرمیوں کو طاقت کے ذریعے روکنا نہ تو عوامی آواز کو خاموش کر سکتا ہے اور نہ ہی انصاف، سماجی آزادی اور انسانی وقار کے مطالبات کو ختم کیا جا سکتا ہے بلکہ کہ سیاسی مسائل کو طاقت اور جبر سے دبانے کی پالیسیاں مسائل کے حل کے بجائے مزید بے اعتمادی، اضطراب اور کشیدگی کو جنم دیتی ہیں۔

بلوچ وومن فورم نے مطالبہ کیا کہ تمام گرفتار سیاسی کارکنوں اور پر امن احتجاج کرنے والے مظاہرین کو فوری طور پر رہا کیا جائے۔مز��د برآں کراچی اور کوئٹہ کے واقعات کی آزاد اور شفاف تحقیقات کرائی جائیں، اور بلوچ عوام کے خلاف جبر، ہراسانی اور سیاسی انتقام پر مبنی پالیسیوں کا خاتمہ کیا جائے۔ فورم نے اقوام متحدہ، بین الاقوامی انسانی حقوق کی تنظیموں اور عالمی برادری سے بھی اپیل کی کہ وہ ان واقعات کا نوٹس لیں اور انسانی حقوق کے تحفظ، جبری گمشدگیوں کے خاتمے اور شہری آزادیوں کی ضمانت کے لیے مؤثر کردار ادا کریں۔

انسدادِ دہشت گردی عدالت کی جانب سے ڈاکٹر مہرنگ بلوچ، شاہ جی بلوچ اور دیگر بلوچ سیاسی کارکنان کو عمر قید کی سزا سنانا بنیادی انسانی حقوق،انصاف کے عالمی اصولوں اور آئینی تقاضوں کی ص��یح خلاف ورزی ہے،جس کی ہم شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کرتی ہے۔

بی ڈبلیو ایف کے مرکزی ترجمان نے اپنے جاری کردہ بیان میں کہا کہ بلوچستان میں کئی دہائیوں سے پرامن سیاسی کارکنان، انسانی حقوق کے کارکنان اور اختلافِ رائے رکھنے والے آوازوں کو مختلف نوعیت کے جھوٹے اور سیاسی بنیادوں پر قائم مقدمات میں الجھا کر پابندِ سلاسل کیا جاتا رہا ہے۔ ڈاکٹر مہرنگ بلوچ، شاہ جی بلوچ اور دیگر سیاسی کارکنان کے خلاف جاری فیس لیس ٹرائل اور اس کے نتیجے میں سنائی جانے والی سزائیں اس امر کا واضح ثبوت ہیں کہ ریاست بلوچ عوام کی پرامن اور جمہوری آوازوں کو برداشت کرنے کے بجائے انہیں خاموش کرانے کے لیے مختلف حربے استعمال کررہی ہے۔

ترجمان نے مزید کہا کہ سیاسی اختلاف اور اپنی حقوق کے لیے آواز اٹھانا کوئی جرم نہیں، بلکہ ہر شہری کا بنیادی اور آئینی حق ہے۔ پرامن سیاسی کارکنان کو انتقام کا نشانہ بنانا انہیں طویل عرصے تک قید و بند میں رکھنا اور شفاف عدالتی کارروائی کے تقاضوں سے انحراف کرنا نہ صرف انصاف کے اصولوں کی نفی ہے بلکہ بلوچستان میں پہلے سے موجود سیاسی بے چینی اور عدم اعتماد میں مزید اضافہ کرنے کا سبب بنے گا۔

ہم مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ ڈاکٹر مہرنگ بلوچ، شاہ جی بلوچ اور دیگر بلوچ سیاسی کارکنان کے خلاف سنائے گئے فیصلوں پر فوری نظرِ ثانی کی جائے، انہیں انصاف کے تقاضوں کے مطابق شفاف عدالتی کارروائی کا حق فراہم کیا جائے، اور بلوچستان میں سیاسی اختلافِ رائے کو دبانے کے بجائے مسائل کے حل کے لیے جمہوری اور سیاسی راستہ اختیار کیا جائے۔
آخر میں ہم انسانی حقوق کی قومی و بین الاقوامی تنظیموں، و��لا برادری، سول سوسائٹی اور انصاف پسند حلقوں سے اپیل کرتے ہیں کہ وہ بلوچ سیاسی کارکنان کے بنیادی حقوق کے تحفظ اور انصاف کی فراہمی کے لیے اپنی آواز بلند کریں اور ہمارا ساتھ دیں۔

بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کے اسیر رہنماؤں کے خلاف جاری فیس لیس ٹرائل کے تناظر میں ہدہ جیل کے باہر لواحقین کی پُرامن احتجاج پر جیل انتظامیہ اور پولیس کی طرف سے طاقت کا استعمال، تشدد اور خواتین کو ہراساں کرنا نہایت افسوسناک اور بنیادی انسانی و آئینی حقوق کی صریح خلاف ورزی ہے۔ پُرامن احتجاج ہر شہری کا بنیادی اور جمہوری حق ہے جسے طاقت اور جبر کے ذریعے دبانے کی کوشش کسی بھی مہذب معاشرے کے اصولوں کے منافی ہے

We strongly condemn the military operation conducted today in Gomazi, Tump during which security forces reportedly carried out widespread acts of violence against the civilian population. According to credible local reports dozens of homes were set ablaze, women, children and elderly residents were subjected to physical abuse and intimidation and personal belongings including money, gold and other valuables were confiscated or taken during the operation.These actions constitute a grave violation of fundamental human rights and represent a deeply troubling practice of collective punishment, the militarization of civilian spaces and the erosion of the rule of law. The deliberate targeting of civilian communities, the destruction of private property and the mistreatment of vulnerable populations constitute serious violations of human rights.

Such measures not only inflict immediate suffering on affected families but also contribute to growing insecurity, social instability and political marginalization. The use of coercive force against unarmed civilians undermines public trust, weakens democratic accountability and raises serious concerns regarding the state’s compliance with its obligations under international humanitarian and human rights principles.

We call for the immediate cessation of all actions that endanger civilian lives and demand an independent, transparent and impartial investigation into the reported abuses. Those responsible for any unlawful conduct must be held accountable through due process. Furthermore, affected families must be provided with protection, restitution and access to justice.The international community, human rights mechanisms, civil society organizations and democratic institutions must urgently take notice of the situation in Kech Balochistan and press for accountability, transparency and the protection of civilian populations. Silence in the face of such allegations risks emboldening further abuses and perpetuating impunity.

The enforced disappearance of Mehrab Khalid, a filmmaking student at NCA Lahore is a matter of grave concern and highlights the persistent vulnerability of Baloch students within academic spaces. On 29 May 2026,Mehrab Khalid was forcibly disappeared by security forces in Lahore and taken to an undisclosed location. Despite the passage of time no authority has acknowledged his detention or provided any information regarding his whereabouts or legal status.

Mehrab’s disappearance raises serious questions about the security and freedom of Baloch students pursuing higher education across the country. Wherever they pursue their studies Baloch students continue to face surveillance, harassment, arbitrary detention and enforced disappearance. The targeting of students extends beyond individual cases. It directly affects the principles of academic freedom, intellectual inquiry and the right to political expression. When students, artists and researchers face reprisals for their ideas or activism, educational institutions risk becoming environments of fear rather than spaces dedicated to learning, creativity and critical thought.

The continued concealment of Mehrab Khalid’s whereabouts represents a serious violation of fundamental rights and further contributes to the climate of impunity surrounding enforced disappearances. His family is entitled to answers and he is entitled to the protections guaranteed under law. We demand the immediate disclosure of Mehrab Khalid’s whereabouts and his unconditional release.

The enforced disappearance of Habiba Peerjan, a Balochi poet, from Karachi on 25 May 2026 is a matter of serious concern. This is the second time she has been subjected to enforced disappearance, having previously been detained in 2022. Reports indicate that following her abduction, security forces raided her home confiscated the mobile phones of family members and damaged household belongings, further intensifying the suffering and uncertainty faced by her family.

Habiba Peerjan’s disappearance comes amid the increasing targeting of Baloch women through enforced disappearances and other coercive measures. The inclusion of women in such practices marks a troubling escalation, demonstrating that no segment of Baloch society remains beyond the reach of repression. These actions constitute grave violations of fundamental human rights and contribute to an environment where fear, insecurity and impunity continue to prevail.

Amid this ordeal, Habiba Peerjan’s daughter Hina Baloch has appealed to the Baloch nation to raise its voice for her mother and demand her safe release. Her appeal is a reminder that enforced disappearances do not affect only those who are taken,they also leave families trapped in a relentless struggle for answers, justice and the return of their loved ones.

We call upon human rights organizations, literary circles, journalists, academics and all people of conscience to raise their voices for Habiba Peerjan and demand her immediate release. The continued targeting of Baloch women through enforced disappearances cannot be normalized and must be met with sustained public attention and international concern.

The nuclear explosions carried out in the mountains of Chaghi in 1998 did not merely shake the earth, they permanently altered the lives of generations. The surrounding regions of Raaskoh were left to endure radiation, disease, environmental destruction, economic collapse and collective trauma. While the world witnessed a display of nuclear capability, the indigenous Baloch population was neither protected nor considered worthy of basic human safeguards.

The land of the Baloch has repeatedly been used for strategic and military purposes by the colonizers, while the lives, rights and existence of the indigenous population continue to be sacrificed in the name of state interests. From exploitation of natural resources to militarization and enforced displacement, Balochistan has long been treated as a territory to control rather than a homeland inhabited by a nation with its own identity, history and political aspirations.

Today the people of Chaghi continue to suffer the consequences of those nuclear explosions. Cases of cancer, leukemia, genetic disorders, respiratory diseases, blindness, infertility, thyroid complications and other life threatening illnesses have become increasingly common in the region. Alongside the humanitarian crisis, fertile lands turned barren, water resources were contaminated and traditional livelihoods were destroyed, pushing entire communities into poverty and neglect.

For the Baloch nation, the tragedy of 28 May is not merely an environmental disaster, it is deeply political. It symbolizes the systematic disregard for Baloch lives and reflects a broader structure of oppression imposed upon Balochistan. The continued exploitation of Baloch land without the consent, welfare or protection of its people is viewed by many Baloch as part of the ongoing process of Baloch genocide, where a nation is gradually erased politically, socially, environmentally and demographically.

Youm-E-Aasrok stands as a collective reminder that the wounds of Chaghi are still alive. It is a call for historical truth, environmental justice, medical support for the affected population and accountability for the irreversible destruction inflicted upon Baloch land and people.

This day reminds us that our grief is collective and our silence only strengthens oppression. Chaghi is not an isolated tragedy, it is part of the broader suffering endured by the Baloch people for decades. Unity, political awareness and national solidarity are essential for defending our history, identity, land and future generations.

The humanitarian consequences of nuclear militarization cannot be ignored when marginalized populations are forced to bear its burden. We urge international human rights bodies, environmental organizations and democratic institutions to acknowledge the long term impact of the Chaghi nuclear explosions and raise their voices for justice, truth and accountability.

28 May is not a day of celebration for the Baloch nation. It is a dark wound that continues to burn across the mountains of Chaghi and in the collective memory of the Baloch people.

This marks her second enforced disappearance, as she was previously detained in May 2022 and released after several days.

The repeated targeting of Baloch women through enforced disappearances highlights a deeply troubling system of repression and collective punishment. It has created an atmosphere of fear and instability, leaving families in prolonged uncertainty without access to information, legal remedy or accountability. The psychological impact on affected families is severe with prolonged trauma, anxiety, depression and other long term mental health consequences becoming increasingly common.

The Baloch Women Forum has strongly condemned the enforced disappearance of Habiba Peerjan and described it as part of an ongoing strategy of intimidation against Baloch women. It has demanded her immediate and unconditional release, calling for an end to enforced disappearances and urging human rights organizations to take urgent notice of the escalating violations in Balochistan.

Zubaida Baloch and her daughter in law Zarnaz were forcibly abducted by security forces on 29 April 2026 from Tejaban Kech.Since then, no information has been made public about their whereabouts or legal status, leaving their family in prolonged anguish and unanswered questions.

This incident follows the killing of Daulat, husband of Zarnaz, on 18 February 2026 in an incident involving state backed death squads.The repeated targeting of this family highlights a continuing reality in which abduction of Baloch women is being normalized within the prevailing security framework raising serious concerns of collective punishment directed at civilian families in Balochistan. Urgent disclosure of their whereabouts and accountability for those responsible is demanded.

The growing institutional acceptance of enforced disappearances of Baloch women signals a deterioration in rule of law standards and weakening of civilian protection mechanisms. It further indicates the use of coercive state practices amounting to family based reprisals, where entire households are subjected to intimidation and deprivation of liberty, deepening political repression and eroding fundamental rights guarantees.
