New yellow zig zag road markings being ignored and some pavement parking blocking the way for pedestrians, buggies and wheelchairs. Please don’t be Road Monster around our school. #TravelMattersAtBridgewater
And well done to everyone who walked this week - so many passports and lots of them with five stickers - can we keep it going after Walking Week? #FillYourLungsNotYourTank
Thank you to all our parent and Year 6 volunteers who stamped Walking Week passports this week. As ever, we couldn’t run these things without you! 🚶♀️🚶🏻♂️
As so many people around the world think about the #ClimateCrisis today, could you make a change in how you travel to @Bridgewater_Sch? We have spaces on our walking bus routes. Great social and health benefits as well as reducing cars on our roads. #FridaysForFuture
Our final walking bus of the year (one of our buses, Red Route, pictured) and a huge thank you to three of our dedicated volunteers who are handing over the reins.
Learning about @cleanairdayuk today, including the impact of air pollution on children’s health and how shifting our everyday travel from cars to walking, cycling or scooting can have a real impact on air quality.
We are wearing something green on Thursday to acknowledge Clean Air Day. We will be thinking about how we pollute the air around us and what we can do to reduce the impact we have on the environment and on our health.
@cleanairdayuk
Thank you very much to Esther and Fran for organising Wheelie Week @Bridgewater_Sch. And thanks to other members of our BSA and the team who put the cyclo cross course up at 6am. These events couldn’t happen without you!
🎄☔️ Serious commitment from our @Bridgewater_Sch BSA volunteers tonight. They’re out in the pouring rain helping Father Christmas collect donations and spread Christmas cheer - thank you all! Please give them a cheer and donation if you see them around Bridgewater Road! ☔️🎄
A meeting took place outside @Bridgewater_Sch today to discuss the plans to move Egerton Rothesay School to the field next door, including travel impact. Parents who want to pass their comments to the school can email [email protected]
