Journalists writing about the future & current state of remote work need to remember that disabled & chronically ill people have fought for YEARS for this as an accommodation. At the very least interview disabled people who can provide crucial context.

@NYCMayor keeps proving he doesn’t care about folx with #chronicillness or #disabilities (at least 20% of #NewYorkers) by refusing to acknowledge that #masks work. For some of us vaccines don’t work even when we take them or we aren’t eligible in the first place.
Reflections on Jan.6 attempted white nationalist coup: We must guard against false symmetries here. This was an orchestrated riot in defense of a reigning and waning tyrant & white supremacist. It is in no way akin 2 protests demanding justice and resisting racism and oppression.
Tell me again why we can’t defund the police & military when they’ve shown us today that they don’t intend to use any of their expensive gear to protect the Capitol from a domestic invasion?
