Dr. Mahrang Baloch became known as a voice for the forcibly disappeared persons of Balochistan and those who were taken by state forces and never presented before any court of law. She has consistently demanded fair trials for all of them.

In response, the state arrested Dr. Mahrang Baloch and other BYC leaders, and they are being held in prison without charge or due process. Today, we are demanding a fair trial for Dr. Mahrang Baloch and all BYC leaders. This alone reflects serious concerns about the state of justice and the rule of law.

بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی

آج تیسرے روز بھی بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کے رہنماؤں کا ہدہ جیل کے اندر فیس لیس ٹرائل کے خلاف دھرنا جاری ہے۔ یہ فیس لیس ٹرائل غیر آئینی اور غیر قانونی ہیں اور شفاف انصاف کے بنیادی اصولوں کے منافی ہیں۔

اسی تناظر میں آج انتظامیہ کی جانب سے جیل کے اندر سخت پابندیاں نافذ کر دی گئی تھی۔ کسی بھی فرد کو جیل کے اندر جانے کی اجازت نہیں دی جا رہی، رہنماؤں کے لواحقین اور وکلاء گھنٹوں انتظار کرنے کے باوجود ملاقات نہیں کر سکے۔ اس صورتحال میں یہ خدشہ موجود ہے کہ ریاستی اداروں کی جانب سے بی وائی سی کے جبری قید رہنماؤں پر دباؤ ڈالنے یا انہیں ہراساں کرنے کی کوشش کی جا سکتی ہے۔

بی وائی سی اس صورتحال پر گہری تشویش کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے مطالبہ کرتی ہے کہ سیاسی قیدیوں کے قانونی اور انسانی حقوق کا احترام کیا جائے،جیل کے اندر جاری تمام غیر قانونی اقدامات کو ختم کیا جائے اور تنظیم کے رہنماؤں کے مقدمے میں فیس لیس ٹرائل کا فوری طور پر خاتمہ کر کے اوپن کورٹ ٹرائل کا حق دیا جائے۔

گومازی میں گھروں کو نذرِ آتش کرنا اور لوٹ مار ریاستی فسطائیت کی بدترین مثال ہے۔

بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کیچ کے علاقے گومازی میں پاکستانی فوج کی جانب سے گھروں کو مسمار کرنا، لوٹ مار اور نقصان پہنچانے کی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کرتی ہے۔ دو روز قبل گومازی میں متعدد گھروں کو سرچ آپریشن کے بہانے توڑ پھوڑ کرنے کے بعد نذرِ آتش کیا گیا۔ اس گھنونے کاروائی کے دوران خواتین، بچوں اور بزرگوں کو خوف و ہراس کا نشانہ بنایا گیا جبکہ شہریوں کی املاک کو نقصان پہنچایا گیا۔ اس کارروائی میں خلیل نیکی اور لیاقت صاحبداد کے گھروں کو جلا دیا گیا جبکہ رشید بلوچ کے گھر کو ٹریکٹر کے ذریعے مسمار کیا گیا۔ اس کے علاوہ فورسز نے گھروں سے نقدی، زیورات اور دیگر قیمتی سامان بھی لوٹ کر لے گئے۔

بلوچستان میں جاری ریاستی جبر کی پالیسیاں مسلسل عام شہریوں کو نشانہ بنا رہی ہیں۔ گھروں کو جلانا، املاک کو تباہ کرنا، آبادیوں کو محاصرے میں لینا اور عوام کو اجتماعی سزا دینا ایسے اقدامات ہیں جو نہ صرف بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی صریح خلاف ورزی ہیں بلکہ بلوچ نسل کشی پالیسی کا حصہ ہے۔

بلوچستان میں عام شہریوں کی گھروں کو مسمار کرنا، نذرآتش کرنا، اور لوٹ مار نئی پالیسی نہیں ہے، بلکہ کئی دہائیوں سے یہ پالیسی جاری ہے، اس سے قبل نوشکی، زہری، آواران، بولان، مشکےاور پنجگور میں سینکڑوں لوگوں کے گھروں کو نشانہ بنایا جاچکا ہے، ہزاروں لوگوں کو جبری نقل مکانی پر مجبور کیا جاچکا ہے، انکے کھیتوں، ٹیوب ویل حتی کہ سولر پینل تک کو تباہ کیا جاچکا ہے۔

بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی انسانی حقوق کے اداروں، اقوامِ متحدہ کے متعلقہ میکانزم اور سول سوسائٹی کے حلقوں سے مطالبہ کرتی ہے کہ وہ گومازی اور بلوچستان بھر میں ہونے والے اس طرح کے پیش آنے والے واقعات کا فوری نوٹس لیں اور عام شہریوں کے املاک کے نقصان دہی اور جبری نقل مکانی کے پاکستان کے اس پالیسی کے خلاف جوابدہ ٹہرائے۔

Seema Baloch, the sister of the missing Shabir Baloch, now speaks not only for her brother but for all Baloch women. When Baloch women raise their voices for their missing fathers and brothers, they themselves are forcibly disappeared.

For a long time, Baloch youth have been subjected to enforced disappearances, and now this repression has extended to women. This is not an individual tragedy but a grave human rights crisis. Seema Baloch’s voice reflects the pain, courage, and resistance of an oppressed people demanding dignity, justice, and the right to live.

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee has announced a five-day protest campaign. Everyone must participate. Every sector and organization should raise its voice for Baloch women.

𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗚𝗡

It has been over six months since the illegal detention of Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) leadership - including Organizer Dr. Mahrang Baloch, along with Bebagar Baloch, Sighatullah Shah Ji, and activists Beebow Baloch and Gulzadi Baloch.

Despite the absence of any proven charges, their judicial proceedings are being conducted inside jail premises, a blatant violation of fair trial principles and judicial transparency.

In protest of this continued unlawful detention and the denial of a fair and open hearing, BYC announces a three-day online campaign on X (formerly Twitter) from 15th to 17th October 2025. The campaign will call for the immediate and safe release of all detained leaders and demand that justice be served transparently and publicly.

We urge human rights defenders, journalists, and concerned citizens worldwide to join this campaign and raise their voices for justice, accountability, and protection of human rights in Balochistan.

Reports from Zehri, Khuzdar district, confirm that Security forces have continued aerial bombardments, enforced disappearances, and collective punishment of civilians. The ongoing siege and communication blackout have turned the region into a humanitarian crisis zone, with no access to medical care, food, or independent reporting.

On October 5, aerial strikes in the Mulla Pas Bial Chadi area killed five civilians, including women and children, and injured several others. Earlier, on October 1, another bombardment claimed multiple lives, among them Amina Bibi, Lal Bibi, and Muhammad Hassan. These deliberate attacks on non-combatants violate Articles 48 and 51 of Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions, which prohibit targeting civilians and civilian objects.

The continued blockade and denial of humanitarian assistance breach international obligations under the Fourth Geneva Convention and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. Such actions constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The international community must urgently intervene to stop these atrocities. Accountability for state-perpetrated violence in Balochistan is essential to prevent further civilian suffering. The siege of Zehri must be lifted immediately, and independent observers allowed unrestricted access.

For the past six months, there has been a systematic and deliberate delay in the legal proceedings concerning the detained leadership of the Baloch Yakjhati Committee (BYC). The central organizer, Dr. Mahrang Baloch, along with central leaders Bebagar Baloch, SibgatUllah Shah Ji, and activists Beebow Baloch and Gulzadi Baloch, have been subjected to prolonged and unlawful detention.

After an extended period of physical remand, the BYC leadership was transferred to Hudda Jail, Quetta, under judicial remand, continuing their detention without due process. The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has deliberately failed to submit the required complaint report, even fifteen days after the last court hearing before the magistrate. The court’s extensions of the report submission deadline reflect a troubling pattern of collusion between the judiciary and state agencies, systematically delaying the proceedings against the BYC leadership.

Recently, the jail administration informed the detained BYC leaders that their next hearing would be held inside the jail instead of in court, citing alleged “security reasons.” This constitutes a clear violation of their fundamental rights and breaches both domestic and international laws. Such actions appear designed to prolong their detention and inflict psychological pressure on the detainees.

In addition to these procedural violations, disabled activist Bebagar Baloch is facing serious health complications. Despite requiring immediate medical care, jail authorities have failed to provide the necessary treatment. Bebagar, who has previously undergone two surgical operations, is currently suffering from a severe urinary stricture blockage, which medical professionals have advised requires urgent surgical intervention. The denial of essential medical treatment represents a grave violation of humanitarian standards and prisoners’ rights.

We urgently call upon the United Nations, international human rights organizations, and civil society actors to take immediate notice of this situation and exert pressure on the Government of Pakistan to uphold its obligations under international law—ensuring fair trial rights, adequate medical care, and effective legal remedies for the detained BYC leaders and activists.

شبیر بلوچ، ایک نوجوان طالب علم رہنما، نو سال قبل جبری گمشدگی کا نشانہ بنایا گیا۔ نو سال گزر جانے کے باوجود ریاست نہ تو اس پر کوئی جرم ثابت کر سکی اور نہ ہی اسے رہا کر سکی۔

شبیر بلوچ کی بہن، سیما، گزشتہ نو برسوں سے اس کی بازیابی کے لیے جدوجہد کر رہی ہیں۔ اپنی پُرامن کوششوں کے باوجود وہ بارہا تشدد اور ہراسانی کا نشانہ بنی ہیں۔ آج جب سیما سوال اٹھاتی ہیں، تو وہ حق پر ہیں۔ آج جب زرینہ سوال کرتی ہیں، تو وہ بھی حق پر ہیں۔ اگر کوئی مجرم ہے تو وہ ریاست ہے، جو اس خاندان کو نو سال کے انتظار، نو سال کی تنہائی اور نو سال کی نامعلوم قید کا صدمہ دے چکی ہے۔

جبری گمشدگی کا دکھ ناقابلِ بیان اذیت ہے۔ یہ وقت ہے کہ ہم جبری گمشدہ افراد کی آواز بنیں اور ان کے لواحقین کے ساتھ کھڑے ہوں،اس انتظار کے بغیر کہ یہ تکلیف کل خود ہمارے دروازے پر دستک دے۔
