@jjmathews99 Got it. I don’t have any problem with the top 12 or 8 or 16 or whatever. If we are going to count conference championships though, then make everyone have one, or don’t have them at all. Same comparison. Could you imagine the NFL telling the AFC West they have to play 18 games?
For ESPN, it’s all about money. If that’s the type of college football that you want moving forward then more power to you, but that is not the type of college football, I grew up, loving. So I’ll keep on loving my boys and my school and my conference. 🤙 And go Tech!
“Teams vying for the college football playoff shouldn’t be judged by different criteria.” Let’s just be honest. It’s a beauty contest and we do judge teams and conferences by different standards. It’s comical to listen to ESPN speak out of both sides of their mouth.🤷♂️
Lastly, ESPN is as complicit in monopolizing college football as anyone. I believe they are hoping for a two conference system. They already tried to get rid of the Big 12 and I think they’re still hoping to get rid of the Big 12 and the ACC, and no group of five participants.

@KevinPinball@cremieuxrecueil Thanks, Kevin. I realize Evangelical Trinitarian Christians believe they have a responsibility to be the gatekeepers of Christianity.
@KevinPinball@cremieuxrecueil Oh Kevin, I appreciate it. I know the difference in our beliefs. I just try to build on the commonalities rather than contention with our differences.
