KOGI IS NOT RELAXING. ARE YOUR GOVERNORS?

In the last 48 hours, joint security forces in Kogi State have rescued dozens of k!dn@pp£d victims and neutralised scores of b@nd!ts in more than 3 different operations. This is not a one-off. This is a pattern.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On Sunday, August 9, a Peace Mass Transit bus was ambushed between Ojuwo Ajengo and Mamerebo in Ofu LGA. Armed men marched passengers into the bush. Within hours, troops of the 12 Brigade Nigerian Army, the Police, DSS, NSCDC, local vigilantes, and hunters mobilised. They tracked the k!dn@pp£rs to a forest hideout, engaged them in a fierce gun battle, and rescued all 16 victims including four children. One local hunter paid the ultimate price, and a police officer was wounded. Three other operations are ongoing across the state .

WHAT MAKES KOGI DIFFERENT?

Governor Ododo has not been relaxed. His government has:

🛑 Passed out 530 Forest Guards to secure forest corridors.

🛑 Deployed armoured vehicles and GPMGs to frontline units.

🛑 Integrated vigilantes into the civil service and armed them.

🛑 Recovered 1,000 rustled livestock and disrupted bandit financing networks.

While other states wait for Abuja to solve their problems, Kogi is spending, arming, and acting. The results are showing not just in numbers, but in communities that are beginning to trust their security forces again.

THE HARD TRUTH:

The security support from the Federal Government is available to every state. The Office of the National Security Adviser has provided the framework. The question is: are your governors using it?

Kogi is showing that decisive state-level action, backed by federal support and community intelligence, can turn the tide. The lives being saved are proof that leadership matters.

🪖✈️DRONE STRIKE NEUTRALISES ISWAP T£RR⁰R!ST IN MARTE AXIS, TROOPS RECOVER AMMUNITION

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have n£utr@lised a suspected ISWAP fighter during a coordinated surveillance and air interdiction operation in the Marte axis of Borno State.

On July 17 at about 6:46 p.m., personnel at Forward Operating Bases Logomani and Gajibo detected t£rr0r!sts moving toward the Marte general area.

An aerial platform tracked one suspect on a motorcycle and engaged him with a precision strike, k!11!ng him instantly.

Ground troops exploited the area and recovered four rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition.

Kudos to our troops and Air Force for this successful operation!
