The CBN has been printing more new notes since the new governor took over and yet the old naira notes seems to dominate most of the transactions in the country. Are the old naira notes continued to be in circulation indefinitely? CBN you can do better.

What has CBN been doing to retrieved the old N200, N500 & N1,000 notes since 2023. The sights of these notes is very nauseating to say the least. I was pleasantly surprised when I withdrew from a bank ATM and half of the notes dispensed was the old notes.

CNG can only and remain an optional alternative and not the main alternative to affect the high cost of petroleum products. The only solution remains the effective local refining of our petroleum products via conducive production environment to the players involved.
