2006: “abortion should be safe, legal, and rare ❤️”
2016: “women can have abortions whenever they want, because they’re not born yet!”
2026: “if she has ✨depression✨then it’s not her fault if she kills her kids after birth”
Reminder: much of what radtrads loathe in Vatican II as 'dangerously ambiguous' was already taught in manualist scholastic theology prior to Vatican II, in much the same terms as was taught at Vatican II.
Vatican II was a council run entirely by those formed before Vatican II.
“Among non-Christians (Jews, Mohammedans, pagans) there are souls which are elect. Jews and Mohammedans not only admit monotheism, but retain fragments of primitive revelation and of Mosaic revelation. They believe in a God who is a supernatural rewarder, and can thus, with the aid of grace, make an act of contrition. And even to pagans, who live in invincible, involuntary ignorance of the true religion, and who still attempt to observe the natural law, supernatural aids are offered, by means known to God. These, as Pius IX says, can arrive at salvation. God never commands the impossible. To him who does what is in his power God does not refuse grace.”
>"Aristo," the Aristotelian
>"Aristocles," the Aristotelian
>"Aristoxenus," the Aristotelian
Aristotle achieved self-replication. Incredible.

It is entirely natural to ask whether incidents like these represent the ultimate terminus of the impulse behind woman’s liberation. Many commentators on here have already noted the similarity of argument between the attempted defenses of Lindsay Clancy and pro-abortion feminism.
The more I read and experience the world, the more I truly believe in the good and beauty of every being. The butterfly [soul] in me delights in the uniqueness of all things.
"Christianity is not a way of thinking, a philosophy, a value system. It is a person. Christ. God in the flesh, the Incarnate Word."
- Fr. Benoit-Dominique de La Soujeole OP
Hello everyone. Some of you know my condition; my bone marrow has been creating abnormal white blood cells for the past year.
This week, I was told others like me had a 50% chance of survival in the next 5 years... I hope that I have been gentle and lovely. God bless all of you.
dissident right stupidity is someone calling himself "culture man" labeling Plato and Cicero atheists because they opposed "superstition"
(note: Aquinas wrote a whole question of the Summae against the vice of "superstition," ST II-II 92)
Joe Schmid: “I repent of my unbelief and believe that Jesus Christ is God.”
Ryan: “That’s not good enough. You also need to do the work of rejecting Rome.”
Nothing exposes the false Protestant doctrine of “faith alone” quite like telling a man his faith in Christ isn’t enough unless he also performs the Protestant work of rejecting Christ’s Church.
“Did the papists forget who was doing all the oppressing?”
All the oppressing? This isn’t the suffering olympics. Protestant nations also created penal laws, pillaged villages, and caused famines on Catholic populations
Religion is inherently a political and ergo bloody affair.
