RE4R: Leon tells Ashley about "home"
Director: "Leon has a plave to go home to"
Cut line: "I promise I'll make it home"
At this point, we all know who Leon's "home" really is 🦅🧡🤫
#leonkennedy#AshleyGraham#ResidentEvil4Remake
@csayric In OG, Leon flirted with Hunnigan, but the Remake deleted it all. It's strictly professional now. He even ghosted her call just to stay with Ashley on the jet ski. Yet some still think he’ll marry Hunnigan? 🫣
@lowkc1b It’s obvious that Ashley looks older in this shot, especially with that deep red lipstick. I’ve never seen a 20-year-old pull off that kind of shade. Plus, in RE4 OG, she had short hair—there's no reason for them to change it to long hair unless she’s aged significantly
Don't make me choose between the Remake and the OG. I love them both.
Asking me to pick one is like asking me to cut off my left arm or my right arm 😌🧡🫣
So since that new crowbcat video has people talking about the RE4 remake again, I wanna settle this debate ONCE and for ALL..
Who do you guys prefer Remake Ashley or OG Ashley??
What siblings have 'Romantic' matching outfits?
Can you name a single other female character in the entire franchise who has a matching outfit set with Leon?
I’m pretty sure you must have a very 'interesting' and 'romantic' relationship with your own siblings at home then, right?
@Felipe__sci@nandanahahahaxd So, "I think we both know this is where we go our separate ways"isn't a rejection to you?
Maybe you wanted Leon to jump on the helicopter with her or something?
Too bad, you could play the game 1,000 times and that would still never happen
WHY ADA WONG WILL NEVER BE MRS. KENNEDY? 🧵 (1/8)
For years, many believed Leon and Ada were meant to be. But RE4R "Separate Ways" DLC confirms a tragic reality: Ada isn't his future, she’s a ghost of a past he’s finally letting go of.
Let’s look at it scene by scene ⬇️
@SchetzRivera If Capcom wasn't thinking, they would have just copy-pasted the 2005 script and kept lines like 'She's a part of me I can't let go' just to please you 🤭
You're denying all their efforts to save Leon from being a weak, submissive man whenever Ada is around
@UW_Bucciarati Capcom keeps her mysterious and elusive to maintain her iconic spy image, which used to leave Leon passive and vulnerable. But the Remake timeline is changing that. He’s no longer just waiting for her; he’s taking back his own story
@Sir_Pimpalot A Knight saves a Princess, not a Prince. That’s how storytelling works. You’re trying to trap me with a scenario that would never exist, because a mission to save the President’s son would make a completely different game. Don't rewrite the script just to win an argument 😀
@essenyare Thank you. They can harass and insult me all they want; I was prepared for this when I posted it. If insulting me could make Ada marry Leon, I’d let them do it. But it doesn't 🫢
@ne_jabe I haven't insulted Ada with a single word.
So why insult me? Will insulting me make Ada marry Leon, or make your character look any better? No 🫣😌
@myrhmyr5 Thanks for explaining your view. As I mentioned, my analysis simply highlights the evolution in writing styles between two eras separated by 11 years. It’s natural that this perspective might not align with everyone's view of RE6. Let's leave it at that
@atemfuckoff I agree the Remakes add depth and expand their relationship. However, 'expanding' doesn't mean they will get married. That is all I’m trying to say
@myrhmyr5 I’ve played RE6. My point is simply that there are clear inconsistencies in Leon’s characterization between that game and the RE4 Remake developed 11 years later. That’s all. There’s no need to get upset or look down on the Remakes just because our perspectives differ
@hayattayaha@nandanahahahaxd I never said the director was wrong. My point is simply highlighting the shift in writing styles between two eras separated by 11 years, which creates a visible gap compared to RE6. If my perspective doesn't align with yours, that’s fine. Let's agree to disagree and end it here
@hayattayaha@nandanahahahaxd RE6 was written 11 years before RE4R; Capcom is currently reshaping Leon’s persona to fix the inconsistencies of the past. If you prefer the 2012 characterization, that's your choice. I’ll stick to the logical growth shown in the modern Remakes. Cheers.
@hayattayaha@nandanahahahaxd Sure, that's the timeline. But for me, there's a clear psychological inconsistency in how Leon is written between the 2012 era and the Remake era. I just prefer his more mature development now. Let's just agree to disagree
@Cristop32060878 Don't worry, bro. If Leon married Ada, Capcom would destroy the mystery they’ve built around her for decades. I don't think they’d ever let one of their most popular female icons retire to raise kids—that would be killing their own money-making machine 🫣
@Cristop32060878 Exactly. They function best as professional allies who respect each other's skills. In the future, maybe in the upcoming RE9 DLC, Ada may still appear and stay mysterious while helping Leon, and they'll respect that mutual support. However, it will simply end there
