When I moved here 13 years ago, you could set your watch by the 4PM downpour. Now, we're lucky if we get rain once a fortnight. It's enough to make some of us hope for a hurricane!

I'd have liked to have it when a man ran out in front of the vehicle I was in but we couldn't see him until he got past the vehicle ahead

@Underrated_Dom @Thefactsdude They both made poor choices here. She didn't have to take it. He didn't have to throw it in her car when she refused to take it. He could have let her drive away salty and note she refused to take it. Instead, he escalated. They both should have known how it was going to end.

It should be treated by helping them accept the way they do look. I only say look and not function because its impossible for surgery to recreate function

After exploring my own body by myself and with other partners, I'm no longer a member of either group. You're comparing women who are victims of purity culture (one partner forever, only after marriage)

@ibdgirl76 I was refused adequate pain relief both in hospital and after surgery when I broke my ankle. I spent weeks literally screaming in pain. They offered a referral to pain mgt, who lost the 1st referral, sent the 2nd to the wrong dept, and then put me on a wait list 3 months long.

@TinaPJMD @sappholives83 @XPhrone Many children who are abused then turn and abuse other children around them because their brains think "this is what you're supposed to do". Children learn by example. Which is why one child being abused by an adult can cause an entire community of children to then become victims

Breastmilk contains antibodies, analgesics, hormones, and many other compounds that are essential for brain and body

@burnyourbinder May I ask what your parents could have done differently that would have actually helped you and not pushed you away by refusing to affirm your choice to be trans? I don't want to lose my 14 year old because I protected their future when they were too young to understand...

@SaltyAnneBonney @burnyourbinder She was a CHILD. She did not have a fully formed prefrontal cortex, nor the life experience to give her the wisdom required to truly consent. It was not her fault. She was manipulated. Do you blame girls who are SAd too?

@Genevie44927299 @burnyourbinder This is truly the only way to get them to stop performing these surgeries on children. If everyone who grows up to regret it sued, malpractice insurance would skyrocket and doctors would stop doing the surgeries because they wouldn't make them money.

@ellerylucinda @burnyourbinder I truly hope people like OP do begin writing books, for two separate audiences, though. One version for children considering it, and one for adults. There are definitely topics that need to be omitted from the one for kids, but I think it would still be enough to help them.

@transsexualmale @StellarFox16 How foul is it to not consider it when a CHILD is undergoing a surgery that will remove that as an option for them when they grow up? When I was 14, I wished for infertility because I thought I'd never want bio kids. I changed my mind 5 years later.

@againstgrmrs Rich people take their kids out of the country to get breast implants because it's illegal under 18 here, but this is OK????
