Saturday’s Hidden Gem 📚✨
If you haven’t read The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood yet… what are you waiting for? 😭
Fake dating. A grumpy professor. An awkward scientist. One very convincing kiss. And a romance that had me smiling like an idiot. 🫠❤️
Olive and Adam were EVERYTHING.
It’s funny, nerdy, swoony, and ridiculously easy to get lost in. And Adam Driver-coded? PLEASE. 😭
If you love slow-burn romance, workplace tension, fake dating and a man who looks like he hates everyone except her…
READ. THIS. BOOK.
Consider this your sign. 🫵🏽📖

WEDNESDAY BOOK TALK 📚
Some books keep you awake because the plot is exciting.
Iya Beji kept me awake because I was angry. 😭
There were moments I genuinely had to stop reading and ask myself:
“Wait… are we seriously doing this?”
The kind of book where you’re not just reading the story—you’re judging everybody involved. 😭
You’ll have your favourites.
You’ll have people you absolutely cannot stand.
And you’ll keep reading because you NEED to know how everything eventually comes together.
Iya Beji is not just a book you read. It’s a book you experience.
And honestly? Some stories don’t leave you when you close the book.
They follow you around. 📖🥹

BOOKS THAT KEPT ME UP PAST MIDNIGHT 🌙📚
Iya Ibeji was NOT a book I read peacefully. 😭
I was reading like my life depended on it.
Every chapter came with another problem.
Another secret.
Another twist.
Another reason to say:
“Okay, LAST chapter.”
LIAR. 😭
Because before I knew it, it was 4AM and I was still there, emotionally invested in people who don’t even know I exist. 😂
The family drama? INSANE.
The emotions? HEAVY.
The suspense? I WAS NOT READY.
Iya Ibeji had me questioning everybody. 👀
And the worst part?
I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN.
If you’ve read it, tell me I’m not the only one this book stressed. 😭

📚 BOOKS THAT BROKE ME — TUESDAY 💔
Today, we’re talking about Adanna by Adesuwa O’man Nwokedi.
Adanna’s story broke something in me.
She was young, vulnerable, and forced into a marriage where she endured years of pain, abuse, and suffering.
And the worst part? Watching her slowly lose pieces of herself while everyone around her seemed to accept her suffering as normal. 💔
But Adanna’s story isn’t just about what happened to her.
It’s about survival.
It’s about revenge.
It’s about what happens when a woman finally reaches her breaking point.
I finished this book angry. Heartbroken. And honestly, I couldn’t stop thinking about Adanna.
She deserved better. She deserved freedom. She deserved a life that wasn’t built around surviving.
If you’ve read Adanna, tell me: did this book break you too? 😭

📚 MONDAY BOOK & AUTHOR RECOMMENDATION
Today’s author spotlight is one of my favourite Nigerian romance authors: Adesuwa O’man Nwokedi ❤️
If you love Nigerian romance, family drama, complicated relationships and stories that will have you emotionally invested, you NEED to have her books on your TBR.
And today’s pick? Iya Beji. 👀📖
This book took me through love, heartbreak, family drama and those moments where you’re just staring at your screen thinking, “Isio, PLEASE!” 😭😂
Adesuwa has a way of creating characters that feel so real—you’ll love them, get frustrated with them, root for them and sometimes want to shake them. 😂
Iya Beji is definitely one of those books that stays with you after you finish it.
If you haven’t read Adesuwa O’man Nwokedi yet, consider this your sign. ❤️
Author of the day: Adesuwa O’man Nwokedi ✨
Book of the day: Iya Beji 📚
Have you read any of her books? 👀
Monday book recommendation 📚❤️
Let me put you on to Iya Beji by Adesuwa O’man Nwokedi because this woman knows how to write a romance that will STRESS you. 😭😂
Isio thought she was finally getting her happy ending with the man she had loved since childhood.
Then life said: “You thought.” 😭
Pregnancy. Twins. Love. Family drama. Heartbreak. Choices that will have you shouting “ISIO, PLEASE!” at your screen. 😂
What I loved most is that this isn't just about romance. It’s about the messy choices people make when love, family and life collide.
If you enjoy Nigerian romance with drama, complicated relationships and characters you’ll become emotionally attached to, please read Iya Beji.
Adesuwa O’man Nwokedi really said: let me ruin your peace in the best way possible. 😂❤️
Have you read Iya Beji? 👀📖

What I love about Yours Truly is that it isn’t just a romance about two people falling in love. It’s about two people who are carrying their own fears, insecurities and emotional baggage—and slowly learning that they deserve love too.
Briana is already dealing with so much when Jacob enters her life. She’s guarded, understandably skeptical, and definitely not looking for another man to disappoint her.
And then there’s Jacob. 🥹
He’s awkward, anxious, incredibly thoughtful and honestly one of those male characters you just want to protect. The letters between him and Briana are what really make the story special. Their relationship develops through friendship, vulnerability and genuine understanding before the romance fully takes over.
And THAT is why the romance hits differently.
Jacob doesn’t just fall for Briana because she’s beautiful. He sees her. He pays attention to the little things. He listens. He remembers. He makes her feel safe.
Meanwhile, Briana slowly realizes that the person she initially misunderstood might actually be the person who understands her the most.
And let’s talk about the fake dating situation because Abby Jimenez knew exactly what she was doing. 😂
It starts as something that should be simple and temporary… until feelings start getting involved and you’re sitting there like:
“Girl, you’re not fooling anybody. You LOVE this man.” 😭
But beyond the romance, I think the biggest reason Yours Truly stays with you is the message that love isn’t always loud or dramatic. Sometimes it’s someone quietly showing up for you over and over again.
Jacob is proof that a man doesn’t have to be the stereotypical confident, smooth-talking alpha to be incredibly attractive.
Sometimes the greenest flag is simply:
“I noticed. I remembered. I cared.” 🥹💚
And honestly? Jacob deserves his flowers. 🌷

I love being woken up by my wife.
My office is close enough that I don’t always need my car, so on the days someone else is using it, my wife gives me a ride to work on her way to her office. She usually leaves earlier than I do, so I ask her to wake me up instead of setting an alarm.....
One of the greatest Champions League comebacks in football history. 🔥🏆
Liverpool had a mountain to climb after losing the first leg 3-0 at Camp Nou, but Anfield witnessed something special as the Reds produced a miracle night, defeating Barcelona 4-0 to complete an unforgettable comeback.
