Does anyone remember this amazing story? On July 2, 1982, a truck driver from California flew 16,000 feet into the sky in a lawn chair. Larry Walters, 33, from San Pedro, had dreamed of flying his whole life. He bought 42 eight-foot helium weather balloons, tied them to a regular Sears lawn chair, strapped on a parachute, packed a BB gun to pop balloons to descend, a CB radio, sandwiches, and a six-pack of beer.
He expected to float a few hundred feet above his backyard. He cut the rope and shot up like a rocket — to 16,000 feet. He drifted directly into the main approach path for LAX. Two airline pilots radioed the tower: they had just passed a man in a lawn chair holding a gun at 16,000 feet. For 45 minutes, he floated over Los Angeles, freezing cold, too scared to shoot balloons because he might fall. Finally, he started popping balloons one by one and slowly descended.
He landed tangled in power lines in Long Beach, California, causing a blackout. When police arrested him, they asked why he did it. He said, "A man can't just sit around." The FAA fined him $4,000. He became a national folk hero — Lawnchair Larry — and inspired the movie Up.

He was one of at least 15 civilians killed in this morning’s massive attack on the city with russian and North Korean ballistic missiles.

Earlier this week Trump said that he has a very good relationship with the dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong Un. And of course, he said many times that he is a good friend of Putin.

I understand that the primary responsibility for the crimes against Ukrainian people lies with the terrorist regime in the Kremlin.

But responsibility does not end there. Trump became the biggest enabler of these crimes.

He promised to "end the war in 24 hours," and many believed him.

Instead, he gave Putin a blank check. He invited this war criminal to the United States of America. And now his portrait hangs in the White House.

So no surprise, since Trump's return, russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine have skyrocketed.

Trump's pro-russian rhetoric, refusal to support Ukraine, and repeated praise of Putin have emboldened the Kremlin to escalate its assault.
The United States halted military aid to Ukraine.
Ukraine is now critically short of air defense systems. Civilians are dying because they cannot be adequately protected.

U.S. intelligence support was curtailed, weakening Ukraine's ability to defend itself and allowing russian forces to regain territory and advance further.

Instead of standing with Ukraine, Trump handed a lifeline to the russian economy. By removing restrictions on russian oil, billions of dollars are flowing back into the Kremlin's war machine.

That means more missiles. More drones. More dead Ukrainians.

Trump has become an enabler of russian terrorism. History will remember this, and those who supported him.
