"He (@SecRubio) underscored that violators of blockade will not be tolerated" thus justifying the killing of Indian sailors
This is plain threat being given to the strategic ally, India
.
Let's decide on the alliance
INDIAN LIVES MATTER.3 Indian ships have been attacked by the Americans and 3 innocent unarmed Indians murdered. Video clips show the ship was static. No transcripts of communications between ship and US Navy have been provided. 90% of Iran,s oil goes to China. Reportedly over 100 Chinese ships have Jumped this blockade. Not one Chinese or Russian ship has been struck. Just because India has gone out of its way to be friendly with US, it has responded by attacking our ships and murdering our sailors. Kissinger had rightly said- it is dangerous to be an enemy of US but it is FATAL to be a friend. There is a school of thought that IS LEAST CONCERNED WITH THE DEATH OF POOR INDIANS. Their deaths they feel should not poop the party in Europe https://t.co/alHY9kOfTW the initial response was to shrug it off and make a pro-forma protest without Calling the press. It was only when there was outrage in the Indian public did we gather the courage to protest loud and clear. Pak had made it a habit to kill unarmed Indians till we pushed back. Now the Americans are ushering in a new era of colonialism and gun boat diplomacy. There are those in India who would like to compete with Mulla Munir in licking Trumps shoes. Was 250 years of Colonization not enough? Can we kindly outgrow this slavish mentality and behave with the gravitas of a 10,000 years old civilizational state?Just see how China treated Trump.

Hezbollah has received assurances from Iran that no final nuclear agreement with the United States will be signed unless Israel withdraws from Lebanon. - Hezbollah press office
In remarks that stressed the need for trust among partners -- & seemingly directed at the US -- the Indian PM said Reagan's "trust but verify" still relevant today.
Called for rebuilding trust & building "a trusted, rules-based order fit for the new era"*

G7 Summit in Evian | Prime Minister Narendra Modi says, "We welcome the progress made in peace efforts in West Asia. This conflict has caused loss of life and property for our friendly countries in West Asia. The disruption of maritime trade in the Strait of Hormuz has harmed the global economy. Many Indian civilians have lost their lives. The safety of seafarers, who connect all countries through global maritime trade, is our responsibility. We must ensure that sea lanes remain safe, and seafarers can carry out their work without fear"

Trump to @SangerNYT on Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu:
“He’s a very difficult guy….and to be honest with you, he should be very thankful to us for doing this. Because if Iran had a nuclear weapon, Israel wouldn’t be around for two hours.”
"Thus it makes full sense for India to engage United States independent of the influence of Israeli lobby in US & Netanyahu in Tel Aviv. Over reliance on Bibi who now faces legal & political crisis at home could prove to be a folly"
Lesson Learnt for #Modi Gov. #india
For the first time you have got to appreciate Donald Trump, that he took an America First stand and sidelined the Israeli lobby asking for continued war. He chose to cut his losses and save American economy over Israeli strategic interests.
The threats to Rubio & Hegseth inside the White House to fall in line shows that Israeli's have lost currency in Trump White House. Vance with help of Qataris redeemed it for Trump by way of this MoU. Whether its a bad deal or worse than JCPOA under Obama is a secondary question now.
The priority for America is to understand that crude crisis, SPR drawdown, Bond Market, Yen Carry Trade & Midterms and consequently the AI trade were all at risk had Trump not decided to pull back. Some of the issues may still arise due to lag effect but a bigger Global catastrophe can be Blunted a little.
The Israeli lobby influence has diminished in Trump White House. Netanyahu faces a moment of reckoning as Israel & he himself channeled Donald Trump since 2015-16 to get an America president to sign up on his Iranian mission. Now that card has been played and the utility is over with no favourable outcome. Rather it has been a strategic disaster for Israel.
Thus it makes full sense for India to engage United States independent of the influence of Israeli lobby in US & Netanyahu in Tel Aviv. Over reliance on Bibi who now faces legal & political crisis at home could prove to be a folly.
Rapproachment with US in Trade, Tech; should however not be at cost of our strategic partnership with Russia be it energy, defence or otherwise. A lot would anyway depend on Midterms & Israeli polls. FCRA Amendment should be leveraged for concessions with Americans.
🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump on Iran:
"We have our deal done with Iran.
It should be successful.
It goes to a second stage, which I think will be easier."
Let's hope Netanyahu doesn’t mess up...

Blog for the day. Insightful and call for action . “America’s disdain, imperial arrogance, and refusal to show even a proforma regret for the loss of Indian lives calls for a reset in ties” Hope @SergioGor our US Ambassador @USAndIndia is smelling the coffee

"A bad agreement for Israel."
"Netanyahu stands... weak, ill, as an isolated and ineffective person."
Israeli politicians, including Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, have criticised the US-Iran deal, which is expected to end fighting, including in Lebanon.
If there’s a US-Iran deal, how fast does Hormuz reopen?
"One senior US official said .. it could take as many as two weeks for shipping to significantly increase — and even longer for it to return to the levels seen before the US and Israel attacked Iran"
