Please retweet to help Mother and Daughter, Fonty and Dixie the Frenchies find a home together #DONCASTER #YORKSHIRE #UK 💜💖💜 23 Oct 2026.
Details or apply below 👇👇👇 Registered Charity✅✅✅
https://t.co/4v26CThkFS
This lovely pair are now ready to find their forever home together. They are absolutely adorable, full of fun, love and cuddles. Fonty is 9 years old and Dixie is 5 and both are in good health apart from Fonty having occasional skin issues which is easily controlled with inexpensive medication. Both are now spayed, vaccinated and health checked. They love their walks and play times and will make great family dogs.
They walk well on their leads and are good with other dogs and older children.
Dixie is quite playful and full of fun and Fonty is calmer so they have a good balance. They both love nothing more than to cuddle on the sofa at night with their humans. They truly are special, darling girls who will be just perfect company for the right person/people.
If you have a fully enclosed garden and lots of love and time for this adorable pair, please get in touch.
📍Best Life Dog rescue is a volunteer run small, foster based, registered charity based in Doncaster.
Home checks, vet checks, ID checks and reduced adoption fee apply.
Please complete the adoption form below if you are interested in offering this special pair of girls a loving home. 💖

Please retweet to help Pud find a loving home after neglect and abuse #WAKEFIELD #YORKSHIRE #UK
This very special girl has been through more than any dog ever should, and now she deserves a life filled with love, kindness, comfort and safety. Could you be the person to give her the happy ending she deserves?
Pud is a female Lurcher/Whippet-type dog, medium-sized with a strong, athletic build. Her exact age is unknown, but she is physically fit and healthy.
She was rescued in a terrible condition and has received the veterinary care she desperately needed. Although she has permanent wounds to her face and scarring across her body, she is now safe, healing and ready to begin the next chapter of her life.
She does have some hair loss, which we believe is likely related to her poor condition. Thankfully, she is gradually improving and looking better week by week. It is wonderful to see her slowly recover.
Her personality is what makes her so special
Despite everything she has endured, she is genuinely one of the softest, sweetest dogs you could ever meet. She absolutely adores people, loves cuddles and is happiest when she can curl up on the sofa for a cosy snooze beside someone she trusts.
She has been carefully tested around food and toys and has shown no aggression whatsoever. She is a gentle, affectionate girl who simply wants to feel safe and loved.
She could live in a family home with children, although we feel a home without babies, toddlers or very young children would be safest. Because of her existing injuries, little ones could accidentally hurt her without meaning to.
What about other animals?
Because of her difficult past, we believe it is safest to walk her on a lead and have her wear a muzzle around other animals. With her muzzle fitted and her lead on, she is not reactive and happily walks around other dogs.
Her future home must be understanding of this precaution and committed to keeping her and other animals safe.
The home she deserves
We are looking for a truly special home that will see past her scars and someone who is capable of handling her. You must have a high enclosed garden and be prepared to walk her safely around other animals - she would love to do things like go to an enclosed dog park and zoom around.
Please share her story!

Please retweet to help Dorothy find a home, currently in #ESSEX #UK Heartbreaking 💔💔💔
Saved from being killed in a British Council pound, by a small, home run rescue. 22 Oct 2026
'Yesterday gorgeous Dorothy joined us, another unclaimed stray from the pound - she is a very lucky girl as her pound puller put her into boarding to keep her alive after there was no rescue offers after the statutory 7 days. This is not normal, after 7 days if a dog isn’t reclaimed it can be euthanised. The sad reality is so many dogs loose their lives due to irresponsible owners discarding them like rubbish. We need to do better.
We didn’t have space, I watched her and I couldn’t let her die so here she is 🥰
I know her chances of finding a home are slim as people just don’t want big dogs these days, but for now, she has made friends, settled on the sofa and enjoyed her McDonald’s breakfast, and I adore her big soppy nature. She has had a really bad time recently and I am so glad we were able to help her feel safe again 😘
Welcome to the pack Dorothy - we got you sweetheart 👌 ''
We're a non kill rescue that will take any animal in need of rescue - based in Essex in the UK.

Please retweet to help Odin find a home #UK
Available for adoption, registered British charity ✅✅✅
Can anyone offer our kennel boy Odin a placement in their home?
Odin is a 9-years-young Alaskan Malamute looking for an experienced forever home. He has been in foster care for over 1500 days!!
Who can give this older boy a fresh start?
Odin is looking for a pet free, child free family who will take their time in getting to know him.
As he hasn't been in a home environment for a long time he will need a family that will help him transition back into this and have experience with resource guarding.
If you can offer Odin a foster or forever home please get in touch below👇👇👇

@RodneyMarshall1 And a possible Frank Marker in Public Eye. Personally, I don't think his casting would have led to the series being as popular as it was, but a fascinating 'What If?' nevertheless.
