@RodneyMarshall1 And contemporary critics sniffily dismissed it as 'dumbing down' Dickens, and turning his work into a soap opera. Along with Little Dorrit, I think the author would have loved these adaptations.

Ozzie is an affectionate, playful and deeply engaging boy with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. Described by his foster family as a true “soul dog”, he quickly steals hearts with his cheeky charm, loving nature and joyful outlook on life. Curious and clever, he loves to be involved in whatever his people are doing and will happily follow you around the home just to be part of things.

He has a wonderfully goofy side, from his floppy ears that sometimes turn inside out to his impressive snoring once he settles down for a nap. Ozzie enjoys toys, enrichment games and puzzle activities, and he learns new routines and commands very quickly. He responds beautifully to gentle guidance and positive reinforcement, making him a rewarding dog to live and train with.
Ozzie is looking for a patient and understanding home willing to support him as he adapts to sight loss and continues learning about life in a home environment. Duke had a potential adopter lined up who stopped replying to us, if we're being honest it's left us very deflated on Duke's behalf 😥
If people have a change in circumstances we totally get that. But when people ignore us or stop turning up to meets, it means the dogs are here for even longer whilst we wait to contact the next adopters and start the cycle all over again. This time, Duke has no adopters to move onto 😓

Can we please ask for your help to share Busters appeal? Sadly his previous offer fell through,

Buster is a 11 year old male Mixed breed. He is available for rehoming and would suit a nice quiet home.
Sadly his owners have passed away.
Buster is good with dogs and children, due to his age we'd suggest a home with older kids so Buster can relax.
He eats wet and dry food and can be left on his own for up to 6 hours.
Buster is registered at the vets and fully house trained. He does have some arthritis in his back legs which doesn't seem to be troubling him.
At night Buster sleeps in his own bed in the bedroom.
He isn't keen travelling in the car.
Buster hasn't lived with cats but has seen them in the garden.
He likes to play with toys and loves to meet new people.
