@GreavesIan like many, having seen the blurry youtube, I've been longing for a remaster for eons - glad to know one now exists - does anyone know if this will be released on more screens or BluRay - a still essential series for sure
@misterminsoo Interesting to use DJ Rashad in this context. I can tell you all of us working with him when he passed felt like "Double Cup" was a first step to the cusp of an absolutely massive breakthrough - that he was going to rewrite the rules in a way that no one could predict.
@funkentechno Moritz really is timeless. I feel the same way about some of his other records. Though have to say I really continue to fall into his most recent album over and over
this dj funk news is a hard pill to swallow. many of us learned how to jack a beat via dj funk's music. a lot of us would never exist without him. his catalog speaks for itself. absolute hero! please help pay tribute to one of the greats. please donate.

@boomkatonline damn that's a REALLY GREAT two for one - maybe the best yet in the series, though Jessica's one remains top of 2024 for us & will be very hard to beat.
@fieldinghope Agreed "experimental" has become a lazy catch all & is oftenmisapplied. I think people need to go back to things like Pierre Schaeffer's diaries in 'In Search of a Concrete Music' to understand what experimentation really is. Always reminds that failure is a very BIG part of it.
It’s heartbreaking to see someone who brought so much joy to others facing such a difficult time. Please consider helping cover funeral costs. Every bit counts, and sharing this post helps too. https://t.co/C9BaSZeq5r
TRENCH remembers Terror Danjah, the future-facing producer who took the sonics of grime into outer-space 🪐👽🖤
May he rest in eternal peace.
