@batcountry1980@JasonGr84873444 @Jim_Jimini The sequence of Getting Better, Fixing A Hole and then She's Leaving Home might be unparalleled in the Beatles catalogue for me and Macca at his super melodic, jaw dropping bass playing , high art best.
@Andr6wMale@MOJOmagazine Completely written, arranged and produced by CM and so is essentially a Curtis Mayfield album with back in form Aretha singing some joyous and overlooked Mayfield gems.
@climbthathill@pastels_the@cambusnethanpi I was there. Pretty sure it was in conjunction with the release of Truckload of Trouble so 1993. I remember David Keegan was in the line up at that time and Stephen was still playing that ? Gordon Smith guitar.
@petepaphides Bought it from @ProbeRecords along with a Pram EP, stayed on in Liverpool and saw them supporting @stereolabgroop that night at a venue I can't recall the name of ! Wonderful gig and day

This is so great. Like Maher Shalal Hash Baz covering an unreleased Colin Blunstone song.
With that intro you know something special will follow
@anewlinerelated Went to Memphis v New Orleans a few years back. Wasn't what I was expecting. Maybe just unlucky to see a bad game but it was incredibly dull.
The fireworks at the end were good though .
@themodernfolk Should say a big thanks to @ebtg for making their home demos available and for having the foresight to keep them.
Took me a while to track the CD versions down some years after they were released but so worth it.
