@stephenaltrogge@tyler_austin55@MBTS 1 Timothy 2:12
I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.
@SlowToWrite You and Joel are making the same point. If evangelical men were not fake and gay Andrew Tate wouldn't be interesting and he might not have become a Muslim. You and @rightresponsem are saying the same thing you just dont like his tone.
@SlowToWrite You wrote the following article and said:
"If evangelical men were just as willing to be canceled—if we were more candid and more courageous, young men in the Church wouldn’t think Andrew Tate is so interesting."
@MBurtwrites@jason_howerton Woman was made for man. It can't be any clearer than this:
1 Corinthians 11:9
"Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man."
Marriage is biblically normative. The gift of celibacy is the exception and not the biblical norm.
@BethMooreLPM@howertonjosh@pastordmack What Josh describes is normative both biblically and historically. Your argument from the exception is unnecessary.
