@jturntdev It really depends what people are doing though... Some people might be building basic websites, and some might be building huge changes in multimillion LOC codebases. I can drain the weekly limit in a day pretty easily, but it gets a LOT done.
@awscloud So many people complaining in the comments, I find it crazy that people believed it in the first place. I didn't receive the email but first thought would've just been "well that's a fun bug"
@nickchapsas@claudeai they won't reply to this... zero public relation skills π« apart from the random "we've reset all rate limits" messages π€·ββοΈ
@ishanxtwt Times have kind of changed though. I was very anti microservices for most startups before, but AI based development makes the complexity way easier to manage, and microservices having a clear input/output helps. Personally still prefer monoliths (and monorepos) tho
@kapilansh_twt MacBook can handle that no problem, but my brain can't... I miss having a less powerful machine sometimes, helps with mental overload haha. I have like 4 windows open atm with 60 tabs each
@Grummz "Anthropic screwed up with Fable, and everyone is switching." What's even worse than the screw up itself is the lack of communication after that, like "okay, we screwed up, let us make this right"... nah instead its just a random "We have reset usage limits".
@AgenticNephew Awesome idea - wish the TTS side was nicer though. Sounds pretty robotic and hard to listen to, and awkwardly pronounces things like "U.S."
@kevinkern yeah same here across 2 accounts, but eh we can't really have the expectation that we get unlimited compute to work across multiple projects with multiple worktrees and still fit in normal usage patterns? π
@q_yeon_gyu_kim didn't notice a difference. i've done 36 hrs session with Sol without issues. (the outcome wasn't great but that's another story and prob my own fault)
@fanofaliens and I forgot to uncancel my subscription. "Your subscription will be canceled on Jul 17, 2026."... These guys are more evil than Salesforce and Adobe combined tbh
@orcus108 Just code your own limit? `if >20% of weekly limit used in the last 5 hours, stop all codex sessions`, could prob hook up to codex app server and run a 1 min cronjob
