Yesterday, voters showed up and made their voices heard:

🗳️ 17 towns flipped from red to blue at the top of the ticket, including Danbury, Fairfield, Newington, Colchester, Cromwell, and many historically red towns

Honored to receive the @AFTCT endorsement; whose members keep our communities going!

The people who teach our kids, nurse us to health when fall ill & keep our businesses + homes running - among many others - play an irreplaceable role in our towns.

Grateful for your support!

[ColchesterCTDems @ColchesterDems]

We will need volunteers this summer & fall since we have an important election this November. Please follow this page, please DM us if you are interested in volunteering. Share with others who might be interested as well. You have the power to make a difference.

Recent national and local events this past week have shaken many people. Elections have serious consequences. We as a DTC are determined to keep fighting to elect officials who stand up for your values. But we need your help.

[Bacon Young Dems @BaconYoungDems]

From the Lt Gov, Comptroller, Sec of State, state Reps & Senators, lobbyists, policymakers, & more-so many people took time to explain their job, explain their journey to their job, and even cuddle with puppies up for adoption! We ran into @BaconAcademy Grads too!! 💙

[Bacon Young Dems @BaconYoungDems]

Thank you to every single person who took time to talk to us during our field trip!! We learned so much, loved learning about and watching the process of hills become laws, and had an incredible day at the capital!!

This week we visited Tara Rescue Farm in Coventry. They have the biggest heart but are in desperate need of volunteers & donations! If you can help, visit or check out https://t.co/mQX3Bd3OGh

"All of this could be ours if we’re willing to put aside party labels and politics as usual, and make one of our steady habits a desire to do better." https://t.co/uZ6MftCljS

[Ruwa Romman @ruwaromman]

Had a quote of the day moment I had to share 💙

“I have learned that as long as I hold fast to my beliefs and values - and follow my own moral compass - then the only expectations I need to live up to are my own.” - Michelle Obama

[Norm Needleman @NormCT]

To start off #WomensHistoryMonth, I'm reflecting on the life of Judge Constance Baker Motley. A civil rights leader, she was the 1st African American woman to argue a case before the Supreme Court and serve as a fed. judge. Across her life, she would return to her home in Chester

Such great training!!

[Matthew Peel @BA_Peel]

I am so excited for the two days of training by NCCJ about to be offered to 25 students from a diverse background. This training will help propel our school’s work towards being an inclusive, tolerant, welcoming community for all!!

Today, learn about his life & legacy with videos like the one below, & then commit to continuing the work he began by being an advocate for fair housing.

[Jason Rojas @jrojas9]

“There is a need for fair housing laws all over our country. And it is tragic indeed that Congress last year allowed this bill to die. And when that bill died in Congress, a bit of democracy died, a bit of our commitment to justice died....”
