Campaign finance records show that in November 2025, Vivek Ramaswamy’s Ohio gubernatorial campaign spent $11,898.25 on a trip to Puerto Rico.

Vivek stayed at the Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.

He travelled to Puerto Rico to deliver a keynote address at the annual conference of ITServe Alliance, chaired by Vinay Mahajan. Mahajan’s organization lobbies for including increasing annual caps for H-1B visas and easing restrictions on foreign labor.

However, Ramaswamy withdrew from the conference a day before it began after the public caught wind of his planned appearance. After the incident, Ramaswany remained in Puerto Rico, where he spent time playing pickleball with the Paul brothers.
