It doesn't matter the day, the week, the month, or even the rank of my team, I've always got something to bitch about. From 9 AM to 10 PM, you know I'm pissed.
@CaptSnipegoon They're not the fort worth stars. They moved to a DALLAS suburb. Plano has a population nearly twice as large as both of those cities you mentioned COMBINED. Not the same. You're mad because it's farther from you. I get it. Again, I hate it. But you're losing the plot.
@J_red11@Daniel_Rob27 They want the whole area (hotels, restaurants, etc.) for themselves. I get it. But people will still come and eat and spend money elsewhere. Developers will buy land and build housing. People will stop at c-stores on the way in and out. Victory Park will be dead very soon.
@CaptSnipegoon I completely agree that it screws groups of fans. I hate the move. I live in Dallas and can Uber for $20 each way. But, if the team moved to FW, the Plano folks that could just drive down the tollway to get to the AAC would say the same thing as you.
@J_red11@Daniel_Rob27 The city could've sold that land to one of the teams for a windfall, that would result in a ton of economic influx to the city. Now they're going to be left with a completely desolate area in as few as 5 years.
@RyanShuck5@LargeInStature_ He taught his son to have his opinion but still love those that see things differently. That's not intolerance.
If we're following the definition of bigot, who is the bigot here?
@RangersWearRed@MikeConti929 You can be suspended from future games, but you unequivocally cannot be ejected from a game that's over. It's ended. You're already no longer playing.
@oukeith84@MattAndAMic I'm not sure there's any way that could be scheduled, even using minor league parks. Logistically, it has to be at college parks.
@rjchoppy@aashishshah And where are their baseball and basketball/hockey stadiums? Just say your happy it's closer to you. And btw, this location is already one of the most congested areas of traffic in the city. This won't make it any better.
@RyanShuck5@LargeInStature_ It's not bigotry to think something is weird. It's bigotry to hate someone for that "weird" trait. He told his kid that we don't hate people that are gay.
@cypress94@KSandberg23 Celebration and taunting are two separate things. A bat flip is one thing. Celebrating with your team is one thing. 100% using the moment to taunt the other team is another.
@LisaRawlsFit@3xOptionShow@Russell_White They play those games for the money. If they could be paid AND get to play a home game that they might actually win, they'd jump at that. Even if they couldn't reschedule another game, they'd be fine not going to Austin. They want the money.
@Christian_NYYST What reason would the small market teams have to spend more on players if they can't keep up with the bigger market teams? You can set a floor, but they'll continue to just spend at the floor. It wouldn't help the game. It would just help the lower level players.
@MonkeyD_Sandy@JeffBiesinger The NHL has the best self policing in all of sports. The understanding that you may get beat to hell for doing something out of line stops guys from getting out of line. Self policing works better than refereeing.
She still has the hash browns with her. She showed them. She then said the guy has her bag in a seamless pan to him. Is she so stupid that she thinks no one will see that? Or is she right? Or maybe both?
Younger Americans cannot survive with the cost of living as high as it is
This girl shows her gas light is on. She only had enough cash for 2 McDonaldโs hash browns, she bas $20 in her bank account
She gets up at 6am to go to work, and still have nothing to show for it
โI'm so sick of America. I'm so sick of our government โ I'm so sick of everyone and everythingโ
This is not the way we are supposed to be living in America. This is not the way we are supposed to be feeling in America
It never used to be like this
The homeownership rate for Americans under age 35 is around 36% as of early 2026, this is significantly lower than previous generations at the same age
About 42% of Gen Z report living paycheck to paycheck, with roughly half saying the high cost of living is their top issue
52% of Millennials say financial pressures are causing them to delay major life decisions like marriage, starting a family or buying a home
Median net worth for Americans in their 20s is roughly $6,600โ$26,000
You canโt even afford to start a family anymore in America
