For some reason, I've been feeling like returning to the world of Dragon Age, to the old idea that I had about the retelling of the Inquisition with the Hero of Ferelden as a major player. It's gonna be a long one.
Enjoy!

@plandefeld410 No matter how great a material is, if it fails to convey the basic idea of a character being rich or poor, it fails in general. The costume needs to do that in the movie/show, too, not in BTS. But to be fair, HotD's main culprit is the grey filter (and sometimes terrible fit)
@lorxell Braids are not a uniquely Dothraki style. They've been used by everyone everywhere in different manner. The Dothraki are simply the ones who put special meaning onto their braids, that is all
@Der_Kernel_ They've been very insecure and salty about the success of New Vegas, that's exactly what they don't want repeating.
Ego, envy and hubris are the answer
@MuseScene06 If Joffrey and Tommen were Robert's bastards, I would agree. But they're Cersei's. Cersei is queen by marriage, while Robert is king not just by conquest, but also by the right of blood (Baratheons were Targaryen bastards, and Robert himself has a Targaryen grandmother).
@Staysafe204 They abandoned their posts w/out orders during a war as they had a crucial mission to ambush the enemy's main weapon.Daemon's attitude towards them isn't different than a simple soldier would receive from their commander, regardless of dragons. Seeing anything else here is hubris
@AynRandDog@HistorianZhang Because a desert and a northern seaside region are literally the same and have the same general climate conditions that affect structures on a regular basis.
Are you stupid?
@OrevaZSN The only paid streaming service I can understand having ads on is the lowest Prime Video tier, because you get this one for free when you buy Prime for Amazon (i.e. it's a bonus, not the main product you purchase). But that's a special case
@notinherthrall If Rhaenyra hadn't been behaving like a naive teenager, trusting her enemy at their word alone and slamming a door into her concerned son's face, maybe Ser Lorent who witnessed it all wouldn't worry as much abt his queen's mental capacity atm and wouldn't listen to Jace
@chaandmami There's being 15 minutes late which is okay, and then there's constantly being 40+ minutes late, which is disrespectful. And in my experience, tolerating people being constantly 15 minutes late turns into people becoming an hour+ late without even a warning as a norm.
Being constantly late is, in fact, a moral failing. I'm not your nanny or your parent, I don't have to babysit you. Being on time is basic human decency; nobody will blame you if once or twice you're running a bit late & warn about it, but if it's a habit, then it's a you problem
I'm so tired of lateness being viewed as a moral failing. I've been shamed for it my whole life because it's framed as "disrespect" (and no, it hasn't helped me be more punctual) and if I lost out on a major life opportunity because of it I don't think I could have ever recovered
@welovesweetboy_ bc even with modern hair dyes and colouring techniques, dying your black/dark brown hair into lighter shades (and especially into white) is a nightmare
but there are natural dyes available for brownish/reddish shades that would look fine on silver hair
technology is the answer
A combo of competency, charisma and honesty about what kind of man he is before himself is undefeated.
Also, he has the bestest boi as his dragon, that also helps
@PANICM0ON It's already a bloody war with deaths en masse. Several battles have already happened at that point. Saying that Rhaenyra was hoping for "ending it before it became bad" is silly because it's already bad, even without taking into the account deaths of children, allies and family
@alicentcoded He and Baela were winning, though
If it wasn't for Sheepstealer arriving and burning everything on both sides, they'd clear the battle and win. Sheepstealer's unexpected and unforeseen arrival literally fucked everything up, because nobody knew he existed.
@hedgedknights actually he does
it might not be a written contract but he's promised that book so much that he at least owes ppl who keep paying his bills (aka the fans who buy his books) an honest "guys, i'm not finishing it" instead of stringing them along for some cash
all we want is honesty
