Sheikh Burhaan Kiti is now putting Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba on the spot.

Kiti says he is not interested in simply reading political statements posted on X. He wants Muhoozi to come out, give a speech and explain himself directly to Ugandans.

He says the last Muhoozi speech he remembers hearing was at the Kyabazinga’s ceremony and, according to Kiti, it did not impress him.

So Kiti challenged media houses such as NBS to find a way of putting Muhoozi on a programme like Barometer, where Ugandans could actually hear him speak and get a better understanding of the man who has publicly expressed presidential ambitions.

And then comes the funny part.

Sheikh Kiti, today you found what you were looking for! 😂

Muhoozi has certainly been giving Ugandans plenty to talk about but Kiti's challenge raises a simple question:

Can we get Muhoozi away from X and into a serious live interview?

Because according to Kiti, he doesn't want the tweets.

He wants the man behind the tweets.
