If you declare it, it shall be established and your future will be very bright! -Job 22:28
That girl Megan Badejo, WILL be an orthopedic surgeon! Thank you to all my advocates and supporters! It’s time for this seed to blossom!🔥😈🛠 #orthotwitter#Match2022#MedTwitter
🌟 We congratulate and welcome our incoming @DukeOrtho residents! We are proud to have them as part of our team, and we look forward to training with them to be the best orthopaedic surgeons and future leaders in our field. #Match2023@DukeMedSchool
Hey Twitter! Realized I started residency & never dropped an update: I’m still directing any & all photoshoots. The Duke Whites🤍, are a real thing. All my hair fits in the joints helmet & my co-ressies aren’t too shabby. All in all, it’s going well! #MedTwitter#orthotwitter
Shoutout to my intern @BaddestBadejo! The best part of being a senior is seeing what bad a**es, fierce advocates, thoughtful doctors, and overall amazing humans my juniors are - ortho is lucky to have you! 🦴 @DukeSurgRes@DukeSurgery@DukeTrauma@DukeOrtho
Does your residency/fellowship give you food or money food? If so (or not) and you feel comfortable sharing, what is your specialty and how much do you get per year?
Lucky people work very hard, have high integrity, show up on time, have good manners, show high rate of learning, are self-aware, optimistic, kind and generous.
My sister and I did a thing.
A JD and an MD.
And yes my mom is a single mother.
And yes another doctor is coming in the works.
Never sleep on children who have a passion to beat the odds!
We lost a member of our NMA family to a senseless act of violence in #Tulsa. We mourn Dr. Preston Phillips of our Oklahoma Society, and commit to continue our fight to end #gunviolence in his memory. Read more: https://t.co/N8rLo5e0iL
The senseless act of violence in Tulsa strikes at the heart of our organization. Dr. Preston Phillips became an AOA fellow in 2006 and has served as a member of the Own The Bone Steering Committee. His dedication to patient care and service to orthopaedics was exemplary.
I am so overwhelming excited about all the new doctors! Like I see a post and immediately forward it to all my mentees. Per my African Auntie Energy, I’m like “LOOK! This is going to be you!”
The future truly is looking GOOD! #MedTwitter#Classof2022
